I love this first look because the teal inner corner against the gold was beautiful! The second yellow and orange look is absolutely beautiful!! I love yellow and orange shadow and blush! The fourth look is one of my favorites! I love the matte inner corner against the satiny purple and gold shadow. Oh look number six is a beautiful frosted purple look. The seventh look is really speaking to me! This may be my favorite! I just ordered the Lamora palette after seeing your look💃🏿 I actually cannot pick an ultimate favorite. You looked so beautiful 🌸
Hey there! Sorry for the late reply; I wanted to go back and review the looks so I could comment specifically. :-) You and my other subscribers have convinced me to keep the "Blessed" palette longer! It always seems to get great feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed all these looks; they sure were fun to create! I hope you enjoy the Lamora palette as much as I have. Thank you for watching and commenting! Have a lovely day.
@@shimmersandsilver never worry about responding!! Life is busy🌸 I love your videos!! And I am glad you are keeping the palette, but if you change your mind later down the line, don’t hesitate let it go. ❤️❤️
You're so sweet, Kat. I liked them too :-) Someone else really liked #9 too; I wonder if it's the cool tones, or just the colors themselves. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Kathleen! Yeah, that one was one of my favorites too. Something was so appealing about the warm eyes with a crisp white waterline and harvest-toned lips. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video; thank you for watching!
#7 and #9 have a mythical quality, like how a river nymph might do her makeup. I think it's that we're used to seeing the statement color on the upper, outer lid. Even when the lower inner lid gets color, the upper is usually stronger. But in these looks, the upper lid feels translucent, and the statement is below. It feels like it comes from a different culture with different beauty ideals. Sort of like 1920's women wearing lipstick, but their beauty ideal was a "rosebud" mouth, so they use it totally different from how we use lipstick.
I like that comparison! That may be why I like to throw in a look like that now and then; it's not completely "my" style, but it helps me keep variety in my hobby and still create dynamic and eye-catching looks.
Aw Rachel! I am in love with #9! It is so striking on you!
❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I think it was definitely better after I changed up the shimmer ;-)
