Whenever i feel like i want to shoot Video of both the Front doors these cameras have Option to Shoot outside at any time like a Vlogger and do not want to shoot video of (Front and Rear) , then the SKYBLUESEA B2W & CAMSONIC ULTRA Z 2 & 3 Dash Cam Benefits if a person want to shoot a video outside the front doors sides Left & Right , would be easy to change the direction of both the Cams accordingly , option to Rotate , as they Rotates 180 degrees . I love those Dash Cams .

I live in Albany Oregon and it's not hot here at the worst summer day and my n2pro melted repeatedly and support refused to lift a finger because i couldn't locate the receipt so I'm researching the difference between n2s & T3 to be sure I don't revisit the mess again. I am not going to be happy if my new cam has to be melted back into shape weekly with my mom's hairdryer again, RIDICULOUS
So if you run it off a dash cam battery pack, like the BlackBoxMyCar BI-750... Does it actually go into parking mode or does it just keep recording perpetually as if the car is still on?

Maybe turn off the autofocus on your camcorder (for future reviews since this one is now over a year old). Your hand kept messing with the autofocus when you were toggling through settings on the dashcam.

What player/editor are you using to edit and post videos from the vantrue dash cam. MP4 format is not a friendly user and would like to know how you can make videos from MP4 so i can post my videos too from the VANTRUE N2S dashcam. I tried directly uploading videos to youtube but it wont show the videos where it shows both the front and inside . Thanks.
Thanks for the review as I totally forgot about the dash cam for the second car after installing and wiring a rearview mirror dash cam onto an 2004 Sienna really for the backup camera functionality last summer Dash cam battery is a great idea. Would you recommend to go with N4 with an extra rear facing camera at all for less than $70 CND difference if the unit does not need to be removed to different car? Would you know if there any difference in functionality and quality?
Yes I would go for the N4. Essentially the same with the third cam. I have one hooked up on my Highlander right now. Only difference is interior can only 1080. Not a biggy. I tested that one as well.
Hi! Is it normal that I have to manually turn on parkmode when parking and turn off when driving? Because I am confused of how it works. At the moment, I have set the parkmode ON to collision after I’ve parked, however, the moment I get inside the car to go, I still have to manually turn on the dashcam, then turn off the parkmode, so that the normal video recording will start as I drive. My dashcam is wired with OBD by the way. One instance, I just let it be and do nothing as soon as I drive while the parkmode is still ON, it does not record a normal video, as well as manually turning my dashcam ON, while parkmode stays ON before driving, but it turns off the video recording after 5 Mins. Then there will be mo more recording for the rest of the journey. Your reply is much appreciated. Thank you.

If you manually stop the recording, you Dan just restart but pressing the same button. If you mark a clip to save the event, it’ll just put it into a saved folder and continue recording.

hmm...N2 Pro or N2S...is it worth $40 difference. Based off the video examples you have of both, the N2S has way better video quality. I just ordered the N2 Pro but may return it for the N2S.
Love the N2 camera but am still not buying it, still NO BUILD IN GPS OR WIFI plus they should invest in better IR or low light camera for in cabin.. get the night color technology squeeze in the dash cam..
It does come with GPS. I never use the wifi in any of my cameras so really doesn’t matter to me if it has wifi or not. So much easier and faster to download straight from the card
I was so confused when you said a Raccoon ate a Bear… lmao. So I think this is a better value than the N-4 because you are forced to get the GPS THINGY especially since I have to buy for multiple vehicles. My question does this have a decent view through the rear window, thanks, 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸

I'm a little confused. So it only records a few minutes at a time & then loops to over-write? That doesn't seem like very much when you're spending hours on the road.
No it records small loops like 1,3, or 5 min. You choose which loop time. It’ll make a new file at the end of the loop and continue making files so you’ll end up with lots of video files instead of one massive one. When your card is full is when it will start writing over the oldest files first. The files are all time and date coded so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for and by having multiple files, you don’t run the risk of something happening to a large file and you lose everything. Hope this makes sense.

Good review . I trust Sony lens more than K-POP country's garbages.For the price and function I think this is good choice. But the lights are always blurry on N2s I guess I'm ts because iTS CHINESE MADE . For $200 level that's is not acceptable .
It does not, better buy another cam. We bought a Vantrue N2S, thinking it will record when we turn the vehicle off but we were mistaken. It is better to buy a Navitel, their cams usually come with their own battery and keep recording even you turn the vehicle off.
Question. Which way do I insert the micro sd card? Say if I'm looking at lcd screen do I insert sd card with the label facing me or the chip side facing me?
This is NOT a 4K camera, even on single-camera mode. It's got an IMX335 (as you say), which is not capable of 4K. You got fooled by typical chinese lies.

Your reviews are always on point and informative! Some people think the in cabin camera is 4k. Based on your review it isn't.
It's not even 4K on the front camera, in single mode. An IMX335 sensor can't do 4K. Typical chinese lying.

No you would put in parking mode so it’ll just record for impact/motion.

When I touch the red triangle to lock the event I do not see the red key on the screen. Did I miss something?

I got mine resolved. Contacted Vantrue and they have replaced a new one. Now it works perfectly.

You mean the rear camera on the N4? It’s clear but that’s dependent on how clean your window is and also how dark your tint is on your rear glass.

If you hardwire, you can put into parking “P” mode and will only record when motion is detected.
How do the wires stick to the ceiling?
The wires do not stick to ceiling. You tuck them in under the moulding.

Can you keep the screen off while driving either day or night?
The N2 pro screen turns off after a few minutes, still recovering, just won't show anything unless you press a button. I'm assuming this is same way

No software needed. Any video viewer. I use a Max and just use quick view in finder or QuickTime.

I found VANTRUE GPS PLAYER for PCs.
It syncs up the front and cabin cams and gives GPS telemetry.
It's pretty cool.
THEY LAST ABOUT 3 MONTH. Vantrue is a garbage company, they don't honor their own warranties. I had several cameras from them in my Uber.
