I simply can't understand how people can dislike that man's attitude, let alone his riding style. I myself have been an admirer since I saw him on For Pleasure at the Europeans at Donaueschingen for the first time.
Love this guy. Clearly a gentle soul and a truly brilliant horseman. I have a 19 yr old that came from the Ehnings and he’s extraordinary. I think perhaps not QUITE quick enough for the Jumpers on their level, but he’s a lovely Hunter here in the U.S. (though an uber sensitive ride, which makes sense watching this). Great brain and not a nasty bone in his body, but he’s requires a very quiet rider. It’s like you think it and he does it. 💞
