I grew up in Mumbai, so every once in a while, I yearn for some Maharashtrian fare. Both, the street food variety - vada pav, misal pav, bhajji, aani (and) also the sort that makes for a satisfying and nutritious vegetarian meal - jowar bhakri, thalipeeth, shrikand puri, aloo rasa and suchlike. A couple of months ago, I was introduced to Mast Marathi, where a Maharashtrian lady entrepreneur, Swati, aided by her Kannadiga husband, Shekar, is serving up an extensive vegetarian menu comprising the flavours of her land. Marathi people are very humble and simple, also easy going and take pride in their culture and language. Respect 🙏
On one hand they have such good people and good food, on the other they have the right wing sanghs which has created havoc in karnataka coastal belt and in the country elsewhere taking us back to medieval age.

I have bad experience with those people already but in general rest of the community are good people in my experience, may be too good people.

I am Kannada and my wife is Marathi (Horanadu Kannadati).
Maharashtra has really tasty food, especially the snacks.
And I am used this food after marriage (also enjoying our Uttar Karnataka food too).

North karnataka is basically prepare all the food which is made in Maharashtra... especially VIJAYPUR DISTRICT BAGALKOT DISTRICT BELGIUM DISTRICT people never eat rice like south Karnataka do...we always eat bhakri or rotti at our daily. meals

North Karnataka food has lot of influence of Maharashtra food
Yeah because both the states were under the same rule since ages and after partition many districts we have given to karnataka and karnataka has given to us. That's why basically you'll see the language has many similarities and culture is also same. Especially if u go South Maharashtra all these miraj solapur wer once karnataka cities and North karnataka also marathi influences
Both have significant influence on each other

We ordered from this restaurant from Zomato today after watching your vlog and the food was... kay sangu mi... ekdam mast👌👌👌 Took me down memory lane, to the place where I was born and brought up. Although Iam a north indian I simply love Maharashtrian and South indian cuisine. And as per your review, this place truly serves authentic Maharashtrian food👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars to Mast Marathi and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to food lovers tv for promoting restaurants serving authentic regional food.
P.s. srikhand is like Gharat banavlela, aaichya hatacha, jowar bhakri ani pithla: khup chavishth, jhunka: ekdum jhankaar, misal pav: lai bhari, dhabeli: sengadane chi kut bharun and last but not the least puran poli: khaun trupt zhaale.
