Alex KILLED THIS, the way he was able to make them both break towards the end was awesome
How? They do it all the time, have no discipline staying in character at all.
I hope Alex doesn't become one of those cast members who isn't appreciated until he's gone.
I been fan SNL al my life and amazing how good comedians they always have alot become famous but so many new young comics are so talented and are just starting comedy careers and they're great there will never be another SNL I love it

This is my favorite Alex Moffat character. The monologue is packed with so many jokes to have to rewind to get them all. As great comedy writing should be. Plus is lean ins and finger pointing are spot on.
Alex was pretty incredible here, but his Eric Trump will always be my favorite character of his.

Che laughing off camera is comforting to me when I think I might be laughing too hard at one of Colin's jokes. Che's laugh is there for me saying "Laugh my dude, that was funny as hell!"
That is some crazy-dense writing. Can’t imagine how many hours went into producing that few loaded minutes. “All are bored!” Great stuff.

I love that Pete knew it was hopeless to even try not laugh on this one - he just gave into it 😂😂. And the brown paper wrapped "hidden beer". 😅
It stands in stark contrast to the many many other sketches where he DOESN'T crack up at his own marginally amusing antics.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😒😒😒

An homage to all the paper bagged beers he and 1000s of other Staten Islanders had on the boat he just bought.
How do we know that was a planned prop and not something Pete had before they sent him out there?

You know whoever writes these lines is insanely talented with wordplay, and Alex delivers them absolutely *FLAWLESSLY!!!*

I started laughing so hard at the tuna can part that I missed it breaking the others & had to rewind and rewatch. This character is one of my hands down favorites, not just of Alex's but anyone's.

Yeah this is one of the best characters. It rivals Jason Sudeikas' Sports Center commentator.
The stars always shine a little brighter when Alex does this skit.

I had wondered if they would bring up Colin and Pete buying the ferry, or if they would not be sure how without it seeming like bragging. Using the Guy Who Just Bought a Boat was perfect It's always nice to see Alex getting some airtime. .
This was effing hilarious. Alex Moffatt absolute owns this chat yet, and the more Pete and even Colin lost the more I did at home. Thank you so much guys for making me literally tear up laughing hahaha.

Love Pete. There are certain performers that are just wonderful when they crack up. I also still watch some of the classics of Harvey Korman losing-it during skits with Tim Conway.

I swear to god Pete Davidson’s life and career on SNL is just an anomaly in the simulation and he’s very aware of it. He’s literally just enjoying the ride and it’s fucking amazing to see.

Im a fellow Staten Islander who probably grew up a few train stops away from Pete ( Im the same age). I think its funny how he is drinking a beer wrapped in a paper bag during the skit because this is a thing that is frequently done on the ferry LOL...Ive been commuting to the city for years taking this boat and Im glad theyre doing something with it!!!

Genius idea, 200g for 3 floors prime real estate in or near Manhattan, no probs with neighbors, huge occupancy, kitchen, liquor license, views, parking, helipad, sky beacons, tourist traffic, wedding & party venue, bus svc., Sleep on the benches, puke over the rail, hose it all down and then start again when you wake up.
All I wanna do is watch Pete genuinely laugh live on tv. Pete needs his own show already!

Pete doesn't really break by laughing, his character is your chill friend who laughs at all your jokes. Fallon would ruin punchlines, Petes just there having a good time.
I love when Pete breaks, but I loved when Fallon broke, also. When anybody breaks, it's funny, actually.
It's unprofessional and fake. They've been practicing these jokes for several days. They're just faking laughs to make you laugh rather than letting the jokes do it. Sign of weak writing and weaker performing skills. At least Sherman acted like a pro.

I wasn't so sure about Pete Davidson when he first started but now I feel like he's everyone's friend, including mine ... and I'm a grandma! Lol. It's as though he was born to be on SNL. He's just a "natural". Whatever that means!
Me to didn't think much of him at first. But now he is well liked and fitting in good and making a name for himself and a fan base his popularity grew and still is growing
At 0:47 Alex was taken by surprise a bit by the audience reaction to this joke. He also slightly lost it for a second but recovered very well.

I’m an almost 40 suburban mother of two, don’t smoke weed, woke up 10 minutes ago, and laughed every bit as hard as Pete, and I’m not even on camera with my two buddies enjoying the moment where my IRL, funny for the sake of funny joint purchase of a giant, rusty ferry collides comedically with an already hysterical sketch about the a million of the world’s best penis jokes made at rapidfire pace by my miraculously straight-faced friend..
