So this is the new Christmas event in dead by daylight in 2022 the "Bone Chill Event" this event is quite similar to last years with a couple of little tweaks. Hooks, The Exit Gate, Basement, Lockers & Generators have all new designs being decorated. Shack & some interior of buildings have also been decorated. You move a lot faster in the snowman & beware killers can now enter the snowmen.

I just had a game where a gunslinger was hiding in a snowman and the exit gate was open and he was following a survivor in a snowman so I thought it was another survivor next thing I know I get whacked by a killer
With the Snowmen as killer - Myers first tier is so fun. 🤣
So basically you can find out if a killer is inside of a snow man by aiming a flashlight to thr head, since they still make the preblind sound

You do take damage as snowmen now though, ig cuz there's no event thing attached to it but it kinda makes hopping in one a massive downside

I am hearing that getting hit and these takes away a health state now, and as a survivor main, good. The fact that last year they protected you from getting hurt was so stupid and OP.

Can survivors still hide in the snowmen to avoid being instantly downed? I remember last years event was particularly miserable for killers like Ghostface, Myers, Hillbilly, etc., because survivors could just outright deny them their insta-down powers by hiding in snowmen. As a Ghostface main myself, I'll definitely be sitting out this event if this is still true.
I got hit in a snowman and it took a health state away so probably not like last year
@Sam That's not what I mean. If a survivor is Exposed, or hit with an attack that would put them into the dying state instantly (Iridescent Head, Tier III Myers, etc.), would the snowman stop them from being instantly downed, even if they're healthy?
@@Higginight sadly if now survivors can take hit in the snowman and lose a health state problaby will get downed if they have "exposed" or the killer is an instadown killer; lets remember last year if bubba hit with a snowman he enters in his "sweep" and the survivor i think received or endurance or no hit

@alkohol Luckily? The snowmen were completely broken last year, giving survivors a free health state, as well as immunity to insta-downs, and they absolutely exploited the shit out of that. I have no idea how you can justify that in your head.

No like rewards by escaping as snow man besides a butt load of points. The event battle pass is how they do free cosmetics since they can add diffrent challenges like knock down surviors or unhook to mix it with normal gamplay where it was a slight chore the Last time they did must do this before escaping trial like the knome thing or envelope for the anniversary

Killer snowmans tend to have slower movement speed. Play with your food perk doesnt make it faster

no, but if you're in nightshroud when you enter one, you can still be revealed
Imagine they do that for Myers or ghostface that’s just broken 😂
The real question is whether Myers or Ghostface can stalk SURVIVORS while they're inside the snowmen. If they can't, then that just denies them their power entirely, which is bullshit.

@@quartzskull8772 I play killer too and don’t have an issue with a third health state. It actually made the game more exciting. It always turned into a race to whether the survivor made it to the snowman or not since they always ran to one as soon as they saw one. And if you’re really gonna whine and cry that bad about a third health state, play slinger. No third health state. Crybaby.

You should not be using snowmen as survivor unless you want the initial bp bonus from high-fiving or the killer is completely oblivious and won’t notice you hiding. Killers are camping with them but that’s not anything new, bhvr really dropped the ball on this one. The game is competitive why neuter event things just for sweats

There is literally no reason for survivor to go into snowmans since it doesnt do anything. I think this is more of something killers wants to use and survivors want to destroy
