Dewatering 2/3

- After rough grading the pond we were asked to come back and pump out any water that had collected over the summer. Another contractor had to come in and install the last few peices of inlet pipe below the current water level. In this video you will see how we filled the sump hole with water so that no sediment would be pulled in. This was critical as we were pumping directly into a manhole (and thus into a storm drain).

Its a good way to help keep overflowing breakages since so many dams have been bteaking before anyone thought of ways to help or fix problem good engineering skills, thanks!!!!!!! Be blessed!!!!
I like heavy equipment. The operator is a very good skill. Very good sound. Thank you from Japan.
Thank you. We like equipment too so we try to have good quality video and sound.
@@vantagetes Commenting years late to the party but that excavator was way too close to the edge of the water. If the bank had failed that would have been a rather expensive recovery. The operator should have been at least 10 or more feet away from the edge and used the arms reach to break the dike.
@@nonaurbizniz7440 the operator needed the arms reach to get across to the side I was standing on. The water was only about 1 meter deep, and the ground was all engineered fill so it was of good quality and stable. Thanks for joining the party though!
Ti sei esposto molto, ma sei andato avanti sicuro. Bravo!
Ok. Yes that's a decent sized pump alright, 10 inch I think I heard you say. Wouldn't fancy starting it by hand! Biggest pump I ever had to swing by hand was a 6 inch and that nearly wore me out. Thanks for the great vids, always good footage and commentary, keep them coming. Cheers.
you have my dream job lol I love heavy equipment I'm about to start a strip job running a D11 and I'm pump but great videos keep up the good work
It's cool. I appreciate from Japan.
Hello driver so good thank you for sharing
Very skilfully done.
I was waiting on pins and needles for video 2 to come out. Then I took a step back and laughed as I realized I was jones'n to see the dam break. It's the little kid inside I guess.
As always, good stuff V.

Good work
Why thank you very much, I have a couple more lined up =)
Do you get much throughput with that gravel filter? (Looks like it could give a fair bit of resistance to a pump that size, especially as the silt infiltrates the gravel.)
The squeak was the first thing I noticed too. Were at this game next to Lake Michigan dewatering a borrow pit in sand. 4 cyl diesel powered pump in a borrow pit 24 hrs a day, manned. Monday morning it was over and there was a lake we had dug instead of a borrow pit for a cloverleaf near Muskegon,mi. M-131 highway. We loaded scrapers in water for the rest of the job.
It's 40mm wash rock so the water passes right through it without any trouble, also it's not completely covering the top of the screen filter on the pump. Either way that pump moves a scary amount of water!
Glad he knows where his right hand track is!
that guys a pretty good operator it seems
Very good video
Hello🌷👍👉ruclips.net/video/4UGygYa5ZKs/видео.html
Scary footing!
The majority took around a week and then we had to use smaller pumps to shuffle some of the water around (it was still coming in pretty strong in a few places).

You'll have a blast.
I built dams as a kid just to watch the water push over. I'm 53 and still do it. :)

Was the person recording standing on the other side?
Думаю, что это видео про то, как не от большого ума, загнали эксковатор на самый край, и ждут когда подмоет берег, и он рухнет в воду. Примерно так.
неадекват,его уберут

That machine looks to be on a collapsable hill.
I have to say I think so as well. But the operator seems confident of his situation.
It's called a slope or, as you prefer, but properly spelled, a chamfer. BTW, why don't you grow up and use civil language.
Wtf does grammar have to do with anything, your a dogshit operator if u think that digger is gonna fall in
Your still being childish. Try to learn to speak and write civilly and it will help you in long term with your relationships with others. How old are you? Sixteen?
the machine weight is the middle as far as the middle is around 1m from the edge you should be fine, the tip of the tractor can be in mid air its not an issue , but also when you do make sure its not the gear side thats in mid air
. plus the ground type is not sandy so he is perfectly fine.
@Bonjon949 For what? To show us how to do it wrong?

Wuts the objective of digging a giant hole then letting the water in?
Luke Potosky the hole was dug for the suction line of the pump to be installed under a gravel bed to prevent sediment from being pumped into the storm drain system.

i doubt youll be in a d11 your first machine...
I'm watching this video 6-5-2022
Does that excavator have some sort of bucket quick connect ? pretty rare in north America it seems (though standard in Holland)
looks like a standard wedge and bolts to me
nah quick attach is quite common and now the rototwist are aswell which cost min of $30,000 to attach a bucket and spin 360 the only people who use pin are smaller companies with not much money or bigger companies that can have a machine for every bucket lol
+mikethorntonr1 sure bud. I've never seen a rototilt on 80 ton class
+Deere2154D that machine right there ain't no 80 ton he's asking about lol that's about 25 ton and the biggest roto I've seen was on a 40 ton volvo and it had forks on it moving huge rock
+mikethorntonr1 clearly see 330 on it. so 30 ton class and I know they don't build them for big units
