Yep the excavator got too far out and should have been benched down a bit. And if you run a tapered box , a little narrower in the back helps. But this can cause trouble keeping the box on line. But it will pull easy.
The guy on top should flatten the dirt and go across to the other side to where his machine is right beside the front of box and hook his chain up to help pick that part up. Then, the other guy use his bucket to pick up from inside it and track backwards as the dozer pushes. Simple. Its just physics.
@@brianwalker1386 yes you can. I do it all the time. Only times I've used a trench box are in areas with a high water table to where are dewatering struggles to keep up. Other than that if you know what you're doing you can bench tight trenches safely
How deep do you think they are Benny? If you bench that trench, you'd be removed the curving gutter, it'd be in the people's property. Add shield is the way to go.

That operater picking up from the bank is an idiot, you point your tracks at your load, if you try to pick something up at that angle youre more prone to your track coming off the groundddd

the top section is a bottom upside down. It keeps the spreaders low and allows the operators to dig inside the cage.
That 490 is having trouble getting it out, it is really stuck.

The first mistake he made is he over dug himself he dug in front of the Box you should use a curl move and only short Strokes
His biggest mistake was using a trench box. If he knew how to bench properly there is no need for a trench box

It's stacked you are suppose to flip it so the knife ended is pointing up. Then you lock it into place by placing 4 pins in it.
I didn’t realize they were stacking boxes but stacked plenty of boxes. Never had to flip the top box. The top box was flat on both top and bottom.
