'Where Is The Sh*t That Got Shot Up?’: Prosecutor Slams Travis Rudolph’s Defense In Final Rebuttal

  • In a passionate final rebuttal, state prosecutor Richard Clausi tried to rip apart the defense’s closing argument that the state’s case is “bull sh*t.” “This defendant decided to try and take matters into his own hands when he didn’t have the justification to do so,” Clausi said. “Where is the sh*t that got shot up?” he concluded. Rudolph - a former NFL player - is on trial for murdering a man after a confrontation turned violent in April 2021.

“The primary duty of the prosecutor is to seek justice within the bounds of the law, not merely to convict. The prosecutor serves the public interest and should act with integrity and balanced judgment to increase public safety both by pursuing appropriate criminal charges of appropriate severity and by exercising discretion to not pursue criminal charges in appropriate circumstances.
The prosecutor should seek to protect the innocent and convict the guilty, consider the interests of victims and witnesses, and respect the constitutional and legal rights of all persons, including suspects and defendants.”

This CARMAX Manager of a DA is so cringe. We are all Travis. This could happen to any one of us. Travis clearly was defending himself and his family… and the joke of a lead detective, Emily Vanderlin, did a embarrassingly horrible job. The prosecution saw this as a political chess move for themselves. They probably thought when it’s time to practice at a cushy private law firm it would look amazing to have convicted a NFL player of “1st degree murder”. They viewed it as a way to fluff their resume. I’ve dealt with this personally. It’s disgusting and they should be ashamed. Unfortunately, not everyone who works in the justice system does it to seek justice. So happy jury got this one right! Much love to Travis and the Rudolph family 🏈💙🙏🏼

This is a man who will hold your constitutional right to ask for a lawyer, against you.
This is a man who is saying domestically assaulting your partner is fine, and you'll get away with it in his book.
This is a man who will take his narcissistic rage out on a jury.
This is a man who is inferior to the truth.
This is a man who does not care if you are innocent, and WILL hold it against you.
This is a man who's playing politics.
This is a man who is officially a loser, a man who is completely self serving and a disgrace to the profession.
May he, his team and the police department make a statement to apologise.
I hope he really does get catch that break he was pleading for. Be disbarred asap.

It’s all about agendas and which crime, when prosecuted, furthers their careers. Thank God the jury got it right. Travis played a role in this: he chose stay involved with a narcissistic and toxic woman. Men, run as soon as you see those characteristics. It never ends well, and todays occurrence was an exception, and not the rule. They rarely face accountability for their actions.
