Hello everyone, I too upgraded my speakers on my 2019 RAM 1500 Bighorn 4x4 and started noticing a low tone humming noise with a bit of vibration since then. At first I thought it was the 4x4 dif. It kept bothering me. Thank you for uploading this video it has solved my noise issue.
@@dono4598 Hello, they did the software update at the dealer for free. I had my oil changed and that's when they did it. If your having the same issue I suggest get the oil service done and make sure to let them know you are having this issue and if they can update the active noise cancelation software. Hopefully this information helps.
@@rubenmarin90210 thanks for sharing the information. I only have 26K on my '19 Ram Big Horn, i think we have the same model but I was able to get the blacked out edition. Love the truck, hate the noise. Thanks again.
Update to my previous post. I took my truck to the dealership for an oil change and told them about the low tone humming noise and they just upgraded the software on my active noise cancellation system for free no charge. If you guys have the same issue I suggest doing the same no need to remove the wires from the system.
@@josecarrizales1167 Hello, if you are having a low like humming noise when you start to drive and it comes and goes away. It's most likely the noise cancelation device under the driver seat. Most likely needs a software upgrade. The dealer should know about this it was a problem with some RAM trucks. They should not charge for it should be part of the warranty.
I just went on a 3000 mile road trip and pack the back seats and truck bed with luggage...the cabin drone noise was unbearable at 65 , 72 mph and many times at low speeds. Halfway through the trip, I moved our luggage from behind our seats to the truck bed....the cabin noise vibration finally went away. Check your load location...
Hi Sammy - Sorry, I did too much babbling and not enough specifics. Wires for ANC microphones are these colors: Orange with Green Stripe Orange with Blue Stripe Brown with White Stripe Brown with Orange Stripe Those are the wires I cut. Thanks, Scott
I got mines brand new on 2019 and I took it to the dealership and they couldn’t get what was wrong then took again weeks after they did and upgrade . The whale sound went away fast forward 2021 it’s doing it again
2019 Rebel with the same issue. New amp and sub installed. 1200 rpm seems to be the trigger. When back to my installer and they are aware of that problem. They installed a different module of some kind but it didn’t fix the problem. I think I will be pulling pins as well. It’s a crazy sound.
My Moms new big horn does a low pulsing frequency as well for like 5 or 10 seconds then stops and keeps doing it. But she has stock speakers. I have the same truck but a Laramie and mine does not do it. I thought it was maybe the Eco mode causing exhaust drone but again my truck doesnt do it and I thought maybe the noise cancellation to. Still dont know what it is
do you know the colors of the four mic wires you cut I am in the middle of an install and just dont want to cut the wrong wires cant find a diagram at all
Would this make the radio not turn up all the way? I recently got a 2020 Ram with the 8.4 non navigation and I turn it up to 26 and that's as loud as it goes. If I leave it to 38 then it almost sounds like someone is turning it up and down very slightly. The sound in this one is far worse then my 18. My brother in law has a 19 and is having the same issue
@@alfredibarra8526 I've tried other trucks with our radio and they are all the same. I'm going to email them and see if theres something that can be done.
Thanks for the video. My ram did a weird sound this morning and I believe it has something to do with the speakers.

5/7/20 The software update took care of the noise and has not returned. Happy camper 👍
@@rubenmarin90210 do you happen to have the update?

I've been to the shop twice for this. They "re Calibrate it". What a shitty feature.
Has the road noise in your cabin got louder or nosier since you remove the ANC wires?
I know In the video you said it’s orange orange brown brown but is it a solid orange and brown or what

Hope the best. Just curious, did you change speakers or anything or is it malfunctioning with all original audio?

If you want to add aftermarket, don't get the higher models. Been this way for a couple decades.
What’s the update on system
Does it affect ur Bluetooth mic for phone calls
HI. No, phone is working normally.
I just did a 2021 similar truck and I just cut the 4 mic + wires and problem solved. Bluetooth mics still work too (they are separate mics).

I thought this feature is only available on limited trim
Nope , all new 1500s have active noise cancellation
