- V12's in new German luxury sedans is no more. Bmw produced it's last V12 in 2022. Luckily you can find great deals on a used M760i WHIT the amazing 6.6L V12 producing 602hp and 590lbs tq. This car is amazing and it's a great bang for your buck.

Bruh it's an exotic luxury sedan, it costs a shit ton of money just to maintain it in decent shape and there is zero guarantee the price will ever go up (quite the other way atround in fact)

Have owned mine for a little over a year now, can't imagine replacing it with anything else quite frankly. The performance is truly incredible, no matter how many times I put the pedal down it still puts a smile on my face. And, the handling is stunning for something that weighs ~5200 pounds. I really can't imagine wanting anything else in a daily driven "practical" car. One interesting note re: the exhaust - in sport mode it is apparently straight pipes after the cats, and you can tell in the way it sounds a bit I think. With how cheap some examples are on the used market, it might be the most amount of car for the least amount of money you can buy right now. I paid up for one with every option and individual colors, but even at that price point it was, IMO, a stunning value compared to whatever else could be bought for the same money.
It is crazy how cheap these are nowadays. One of the best car under 60k

Maintenance costs because of required service add up after year 4 if one drives >12k miles annually. I usually buy a year or two old used vehicles, low mileage and move on to the next. Clean 1 owner vehicles that are a couple years old are awesome for about 2 yrs.
Love it. Just be sure to have that 100k you saved ready to keep it running.
The 760i was and is a dream car for me. I’d have it over the new 7 series for sure and these can be had for less than half what they were new

I don't understand why they would drop the V12. They still have to build them for Rolls-Royce. They also should have utilized it in the 8-Series and X7.

A luxury car needs to have a V12, it is just such a unique motor that delivers power in a totally different way than a V6 or a V8. It is really sad that these wonderful motors are going away :/
They should of simply called it an M7 and gave it a 7.0 V12 with 700bhp. The M760i harks back to the old days of the e28 M535i aka the "poor man's" M5.

Just bought my 2015 760LI what a car. V12 is a true tour car.

Me too but I'm concerned about the maintenance. I also looked at the S560, both2018.
BMW design peaked from 2015-2020, they look like over priced Hyundais now

Ahahahah new cars cost a lot because they have a lot of tech. In a few months that tech is already obsolete and you can find it on cars that cost 80% less. What this tells you? That all that tech was never expensive

No, it does not. 750s are junk. Literally the worst engine bmw ever made. There is a reason this v12 is in every Rolls Royce you donkey.
