Ok. First of all, I was at that game. And even though I'm not a Reds fan, I still was happy for Homer Bailey!

The only reason why I know about Homer Bailey is because he threw a no-hitter on my birthday

what's the difference between a perfect game and a no-hitter? what if someone got on base?? then would it not be a no-hitter?

A perfect game is when no one is on base. No walks, errors, hbp...a team has won a game despite being no hit before. 1966 season I believe... and it was the reds who won lol

If he had not walked someone wouldn’t it have been a perfect game instead? So, yes, he walked someone.
