What I did was unplug the exhaust valve when it's open. Water proof both ends and tie the cable up somewhere. My valve stays open and zero engine code, even with scanner.
In P the valve is always open and never closes in Sport mode. If you go to D the valve closes immediately, and only opens, if you throttle pretty hard. If you drive softly, the valve stays closed. Fun fact: in R the valve stays open.
It's a box, that connects via OBD or CAN bus and allows to manually control the behavior of the exhaust valve. www.peem-solutions.de/exhaust_valve_controller
No, Bimmerlink needs to be connected and then to be set to open the flaps at every start manually. With PEEM there's no such procedure. You start your engine and go. If you want to switch, it's just a press on a button. Plus your OBD port is free. The sound is the same, of course. But not the operation.

...which brings you into deep s**t, if you are in Germany and controled by Police.
🥰😍🥰
Do the flaps close in Sport mode over 4000rpm or during drive in some defined speedranges like 45-60kmh?

So what is PEEM?

@@-dns- Ah, I see.
@@-dns- Ah so there is a full OBD version? I was curious. I want to get it for my new g42. I prefer a OBD Option.
@@Errost5 yes, look at website.
@@-dns- Yes, i did but its not that clear described imho.
