I love What's the story? (Morning glory). I decided to attend university thanks to "Some might say". The line "I was standing at the station in need of education in the rain" put the thought into my head. It sure changed my life in a good and tangible way. Thanks Noel! Cheers mate!

I love that he says he doesn't care for the production on Morning Glory. One of the very first impressions I had of the album was that I couldn't believe that after such a successful debut album, they'd take such a step down in sound. Everything about Definitely Maybe sounds better. It's clearer, mixed better, just everything about the sound is way better. I also think the songs themselves are a lot better too, but I don't feel as strongly about that.

Like the first two Kula Shaker records... they are just perfect. And so are if not the album - at least the singles.

Yep morning glory is compressed way too much, they brick walled the crap out of it unfortunately, which is why it sounds so muddy with the dynamic range being absolutely terrible. A good reminder in production that you need to focus on the dynamics then loudness to get a great crisp sound.
