Really enjoyed this Lonsdale interview. He doesn't seem as nervous as he usually does -- probably bc it's Gillespie interviewing him. Dude is always preternaturally calm. Like a human Ambien
@51:36 pooping street, as the homeless educator since 2010. The reason homeless poop in streets is because there are no public or business restrooms available to them. In NYC many business, like some Starbucks have no restrooms for their customers.
Lack of self awareness and personal responsibility is the root cause of homeless poop in street. Don 't use the availability of Facility as excuse, please.
49:48 “My experience with libertarians [...] is it was kind of like you sit on the couch, and you yell at the TV and tell the government to stop doing things, and you maybe put some money to try to stop the government from doing things, and then the government ends up eventually doing it anyway, and it ends up being even more dysfunctional, and it keeps growing, and you're kind of angry.”
Good interview. I get what he said about libertarians. Most are good at discussing their principles and even the kind of society they would like to live in, but most don't actually effectuate much change in order to bring about a more libertarian society (myself included).
People who are worried about Palantir aren't worried enough about what the govt does *without* Palantir: unsiloed databases, lack of accountability for data access, and so on.
Watching this in January 2025 as Los Angeles is burning to the ground due to State Governmental misconduct whilst a multitude of Democrats are amongst President Elect Donald John Trump’s Cabinet is quite altruistic…
Love his enthusiasm, his energy is right on. Should be great for the future of America. TY

I live in the fecal state (Cali). Lot’s of people fleeing. Not me. I live in a nice area.
“Friends left for Switzerland or Singapore” this makes sense, they are the two countries which are still sane.
Palantir a generational company.
But...Texas is not as free as Texans like to pretend.
Great conversation 👍
Austin is a sanctuary city and they got rid of a lot of their police officers. It’s turned into a crime ridden mess.
Palantir is the definition of a government backed company. Read Whitney Webb.

Great guys!!
Nick Gillespie bias is very evident @24:08 he attributed his senior moment to Trump and not Biden? Is he that dense?
Your bias is showing when you look for problems that dont exist, because Nick has always disliked both.
Should have asked him whether Palantir offerring more than 100 jobs to (woke) jews only, was ethical or not...
because he wants to pay less taxes?
Adderal: It gets shit done.
Can you say tax abatement?
It sucks to get a computer when you have a problem with something. This guy is spewing hot air
