He made a bad choice to use the slur, however the phone smash is NOTHING compared to the verbal and physical, he was pushed, assault that was perpetrated on him.

Jason this was a great opportunity to help educate people on how to respond after we do something we are not proud of that each one of us do in life. You accepted responsibility for your part and then described what to do next time. There are so many people who need to learn that life lesson. Thank you so much for sharing your heart and transparency. We are all human and have done things we regret. Awesome show!!!!
We don't get to walk through this life perfectly. None of us. I think what God wants from us is to grow - to become a truer, wiser, kinder, better version of ourselves with practice. None of us will lack opportunities to try, again, when people act stupid and trigger us. Thank them in your own mind for the opportunity they offer you to grow patience! Then, let it go. It's not deserving of any more of your energy. I think you two are great. You both do your momma and dad proud.

The US is in the place it is right now, in no small part, due to the fact that multiple generations have grown up with little to no consequences for their words or actions.
Glad to see the overwhelming support for Jason. I’m from the generation that knew there were always going to be consequences for actions, especially talking shit to someone bigger and older in public. 40 years ago instead of having the nerve to push Jason (an assault that has been overlooked) the kid would be crawling around picking up his teeth.

I'm in Oregon and my sis turned me on to 'Quarterback ' on Netflex since I'm a Marcus Mariotta fan. That's where I discovered Patrick Mahomes and fell in love with his charisma. Then I noticed he kept throwing to a guy named Kelce and it dawned on me that I had just read an article about Taylor newly dating this guy. I became an instant fan of Travis and KC Chiefs ever since and have been watching this podcast, old and new episodes. This family is awesome!!!

Yes!! I’ve been wanting her to come on the pod ever since I learned she’s a KC and Taylor fan. She’s also a beast out here hooping for real in her rookie season!
On the 2-point conversion, an important consideration is: how good is the defense you have to score against? This year, the league average is only 31% on 2-point conversions. You have to figure in a loud Arrowhead against an elite defense like the Chiefs, those odds drop to 20 or 25%. Also, the Bucs had a 50% chance to get the ball first on the coin flip. Going for the 2-point conversion is like playing slots in Vegas, you know the odds are not in your favor. Otherwise, every team would always be going for the 2-pointer every time, and no one would ever kick the 1-pointer.
I feel in love with you both at the Superbowl Eagles v Chiefs to see the love you showed each other and your parents even after the final whistle was truly heart warming! You can see you boys have been brought up right, keep your head up Jason many people are behind you!!

Jason, every day I am proud that you are from Cleveland. Today is no different. From one east sider to another, this is a non-event. You did what you did and owned it. Owning it was the key. No excuses just straight owned it. Bravo
Jason Kelce is a king and absolute great role model, please do not change
Damnit Jason! What a perfect apology. The 1st time I have smiled all day.
Jason we love you!! You had a gut reaction we all have been there!!!
I love the way you guys started this off with some introspection. What a great example of learning from a situation, working to be better! As a mom this is what I have modeled for my kids. It’s also nice to see this on social media. 😊
no need to apologize Jason we stand with you bro, defend your bro!
I didn’t think I could laugh today. Travis and Jason proved me wrong. Thanks, guys.
Well stated, Jason. You emphasized the right things. We stand behind you.
You can see it is weighing on his mind.... Jason is a national treasure!
because he didnt want to lose his job and sponsorships....
Florida lady here. I love the Cheifs. I've never been to KC. I love football and I read a lot about each player on every team. College and NFL. I read alot about #15 I loved his story I became a huge fan, and I started watching your pod cast and feel in love with you two. So here I am.. watching you guys on Monday night. I do love my Dawgs! Live for football, and my daughter loves it, too. (In profile pic) We will keep watching you on this show and Monday nights!
Just wanted to say, Jason and Travis you guys are awesome.
Kelce wants Butker canceled for being a Christian Conservative, yet wants a pass on calling someone a f*ggot. Sorry, but what goes around, comes around.
Don’t apologize, the world needs more ppl like you Jason !
I stand with Jason. You said what you said in the heat of the moment, no harm no foul.
Jason we understood the difference in how you used the word and how he used it. Taking the power of that word back. We stand with you
You go Jason!!!! Thank you for standing up for your family!!!! He crossed the line!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jason you stood on business & defended your brother & family name. No apologies needed. We all riding with you. ✊🏿
We stand with you Jason. Peace!🙏🏽
Road House is a go-to movie. You can’t do better than Patrick & Samuel. They represent an
array of feelings topped with action👍🏼
Happy Birthday Jason! Wishing you only the best!
Needed you all this morning....needed some laughter on this f'ed up morning.
I stand with you, sending you love
Today is a great day!
That's America for you, its racist
@@thisjawnswayzeIt’s a good day if you are sexist or racist
Same reason I'm here. Sending love to everyone feeling the same way.
Jason, never apologize for standing up for family. I understand your reaction was in characteristic of what you stand for. That punk "kid" (he was an adult) had it coming for using such a vulgar slur. Blessings to you and your family. Go Chiefs! ❤
He’s not apologising for standing up for his family. He’s apologising for how he did it.
I don’t think he’s apologizing for what he did, just for stooping down to that guy’s level. That guy now is probably the most hated guy in the campus.
@@jameswyatt4443he specifically said by making the response he did he gave the guy air time, if he’d just kept walking it would be a nothing burger. I don’t think he was apologizing for standing up, just how he did it.
@@janicegreen9992 What? That’s literally what I said.
I know, I was just fleshing it out!
Not normally on this podcast but came in here to say Jason, I stand with you!
The audacity of that kid/adult whoever!
Jason your a class act I love that your so passionate about your family and friends. Kelce family just seems so genuine. RED KINGDOM WE LOVE OUR CHIEFS love the podcast you and Travis are freaking hilarious and just awesome ❤
Jason, we understand that you lost your temper. It's human. Your apology is sincere and the lesson learned. We love you and know that you are good person, a good man.
We love you Jason! So proud of how you are handling everything and taking responsibility! So sorry you had to go through this! 💕
Thank you for providing a good distraction from today
Much respect to you Jason for standing up for your family. That’s what I took out of the whole situation that happened. Love your podcast. Go Chiefs!
Stay strong Jason !, you’re a classy gentleman . Love Jason ❤️
D Hop was on 🔥 definitely getting that ring! 1587 Prime🧢 😮 🫶
We love you Jason! Don’t let this get to you! You were protecting your family and we love you for that!! ❤️❤️
Please have Caitlin Clark on as a guest. She is a big Chiefs and Swift fan. A cool twist could be to have Kylie on as well to interview her with you guys. It would be great for your female listeners. Love football, but also love female athletes.
Great idea.
Yes! Would love to see Caitlyn, Simone, and Ilona on this pod. All such amazing athletes.
Yes!! I’ve been wanting her to come on the pod ever since I learned she’s a KC and Taylor fan. She’s also a beast out here hooping for real in her rookie season!
This!

Jason, you are such a good man, thank you for standing up for what you believe in and owning it all. ❤
I stand with Jason Kelce. 🤜 🤛
