My daughter went to school with Patrick at Texas Tech. They graduated the same year. She said he was such a nice guy. They did a fundraiser in one of their classes that was for underprivileged children. She came up with the t-shirt design. They asked Patrick if they could use his likeness. He said “of course”. It was actually a silhouette of him passing a football. On the back it said, “Me and Mahommies!” She still wears it all the time. ❤🖤❤️ Wreck ‘em Tech! 💪 up!

@@celsiiius that's like back when Peyton signed with denver, there was no player I had greater respect for in the league than Peyton Manning. Probably cuz he owned the Chiefs as a colt.. Then signed with the arch rivals, attracted a ton of all-star players to ALSO join denver, and then be proceeded to dominate the Chiefs again wearing rival colors lol... But thats the effect truly elite players have, across all sports. There's just not a lot of weakness to their game. If you claim to not like them, it's probably just because you're a hater.. That, and they attract other talent. Guys wanted to play with manning cuz they knew it'd give them a fantastic shot at a championship. With mahomes, every one of the stars (outside of Tyreek hill) have all taken a little less than they could have got elsewhere to stay and play with him. These kinds of players are not only supremely talented and can raise the game of their teammates, theyre also cultural cornerstones for franchises. I'm glad my team has him!

@@ryanwhite9437 Great point about Peyton Manning. I loved watching him play, even as a Texans fan. He was on such a different level, calling audibles, and the only QB in over 30-40 years to truly call his own plays. I see a lot of that in Mahomes as well. Great guy, smart player, and on a different level so every play of every game is something to watch. Plus Pat is a fellow Texan (Actual Texan, not the poor excuse for a football team we have) so I'm always going to pull for him. Jalen Hurts is also a Texan, so I'd love to see a Chiefs vs Eagles Super Bowl.

Shout out to Whitehouse, TX. My son was a freshman when Pat was a senior at WHS. The summer before Pat's senior season, I was up at the field where the fb team was practicing. Mahones was warming up with a wideout tossing the ball back and forth. I recall walking by them, hearing the ball hum through the air when he released it. It caught me off guard. I recall thinking to myself, "Holy shit, this kid has a gun on him." Little did I know.....

The center later said he didn't realize who was on him till he heard Mahomes' very identifiable voice and realized something bad had happened to his qb. He went perfectly still till they could get him off. I think it was actually Chris Harris from the Broncos who slid Mahomes to the ground.

I’m genuinely so happy for all the success he’s had in KC. When he finally won his superbowl, I may or may not have shed a tear! Would love to hear from Coach Reid who’s managed to coach the best center AND tight end in the league right now.

The fact that the Kelce bros are still professional football players in the NFL and probably going to Canton one day is simply awesome. Just hearing about the game and how much they not only respect it but the passion, dedication and love of the game, comes through so authentically. Staying humble and grounded in this day and age isn’t the usual way of the world in my opinion, but both of these men seem to keep it real. Thank You to the Kelce Bros for not being fake. Best wishes going forward and hoping for the Lombardi Trophy to come back to Philadelphia!!!! (Sorry, not sorry Travis).
