I really appreciate the passion you bring to the hobby. I have gotten very into records over the last few years and your knowledge and passion helped me to discover my love of punk and garage rock records. Your story gives me hope that there are still good folks out there and I have found the record community to be one of the most welcoming and loving around. When you spoke of your son it reminded me of my sister who has autism so I understand the strength you have and love for your family. Wishing the best for you and your family Dillon, hoping to visit the store at some point!
Storage units can be gems. Chap I know bought one, full of furniture. He removed the sofas, chairs and 20k vinyls approx were 'hidden' behind them, he had no idea they were there! Sellable Latin, Rock, Jazz.....in the bunch, maybe 40k worth of vinyl!
Great interview I really enjoyed it and you are correct the most fun I have is searching and finding something really cool. It is the thrill of the chase and I love all genres of music and Zeppelin has been my favorite since I was a little boy. My Sister's favorite band is Zeppelin as well so I think I had some influence over her. But it was simple just play the music and their music does the rest. To me Led Zeppelin was the most consistent on all their albums, they were made to be played all the way through.
Thanks for pronouncing Midland correctly. Haha. I once had a boss that pronounced it the Texas way as you put it and it used to drive me crazy every single time.
Ouch, the pain when you said you sold your record collection... Looks like that backfired 😂 in a good way. Shopping in real life is convivial and all about community, it's how we're designed to live.
That was a nice change. Just lay back and listen... not have to watch, stop, rewind, pause, take note of which of your recommendations I would check out / search / listen to / Google / maybe try to buy 😜 .
I have a question my records sometimes sound like their voice is going through a fan. It isn’t all the time and isn’t extremely prominent. Anyone know what is going on?
You're a good guy and you're able to make a living doing what you love - that's rare.
All the best to you and your family 👍
Thanks man!! 🙏🙏🙏
Dillian...you are one amazing young man! I pray God will continue to bless you and your family. From Soulsista!

Dylan your story and work ethic is so inspirational. If there were more Dylan’s in the world there’d be less issues. Guaranteed 🙏

Fun and interesting interview! It's a little creepy that we never see the guy askin the questions.
Copy of Daft Punk's 'Around the World' sitting in the new arrivals bin 🤩
I'd be happy with half your acumen, on the b side of ian Dury's Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick is a song about you!
I finally know how to spell “Dillon”
Why is all those records sitting like that for?
I have a question my records sometimes sound like their voice is going through a fan. It isn’t all the time and isn’t extremely prominent. Anyone know what is going on?
Wow 7k for $200.

I grew up in Midworld, oh fuck I'm trolling my bad, but wouldn't that be considered elfing?
I love vinyl underwear.
