Kudos to Newcastle for the extended highlights that is actually more reflective of the game. Newcastle showed exceptional character and played really well with just 10 men. ASM was a constant threat and on another day, this game could had been a lot closer.

Well played to Newcastle. After years of seeing them yo-yo in and out of the premier league, Its great to see them building something special. Saint Maxim was a constant threat against us despite Newcastle being a man down.
Can't believe the amount of chance we missed and how good Allison really is for Liverpool
He does have his dodgy days lol but today was a good one for sure, saved us here, and il never forget that moment he scored vs west brom in the final seconds

First game I’ve been to in 4 years as I’ve been too busy with work and covid and live in the north west of Scotland. There is no comparison to a football atmosphere. The Toon showed a lot of fight against us, especially with 10 men. You need to start putting those chances away though, I think that's only 4 or so since Christmas. Also don't worry about the final, Karius is really great in them 😬

Positives first, I thought Max was back to his best and really played his heart out. Miggy done what Miggy does best and runs from end to end, at one point he was playing as a center back following a counter attack by Liverpool. And last the fans are the best in the world, any club would love our fans and wor flags are just incredible. The negatives are that we were caught by two attacks which resulted in the two goals. The defense has been unpenetrable all season but lately they have had a little wobble, hope they can get their defensive strength back soon. They say things come in three’s well I hope the two draws and last nights result is the three, and we can go down to Wembley and get a good result against Manchester United.

@@neillynch_ecocidologist probably because he was actually injured. It did piss me off but it defo was. I know that he was fine and then injured again but I've had that happen to me aswell. Had a knee on knee collision and I was limping for like 8 mins and then it was gone but then came back like 12 mins later.

Not a NU fan but just wanted to say that even at 10 men Newcastle was still the better team. You were unlucky not to get any points, Liverpool were unconvincing and the Pope red card just ruined what could have been a great match. Awful mistake.
