Still grateful that you challenged me to take part in this special experience in the Museum. Loved your new introduction style of the video. As our son would say: a big green thumbs up to you ;)!

Great to see all this new material, more than worth the wait! I had to pause the video, but I do like the pictures you took in the begijnhof in Leuven, as well. But of course the trip to Denmark takes the cake. The dunes and bunkers look like something from another planet.

Denmark's North Sea coast is breath of fresh air, compared to our Belgian approach 🫣. Combine this itinerary with a couple of days in Copenhagen, and it's a legit roadtrip!

I really loved this video! You may release videos seldom (I can relate to your situation with a 3-year-old and a newborn), but when you do you deliver! I like to hear your opinion on gear as much as a walkthrough of your images like today. I like the variety of your subjects and applaud your desire to shoot whenever you can - you work with what you get. Lovely to see the places you visit and your interpretation of a place or a mood. From the museum shots to Denmark, your images have a nice quality about them, whether film or digital. Thank you for sharing! Love from Oslo!

Takk for disse ordene. Jeg lærer for tiden norsk med Duolingo 😇. The past couple of months were a bit hectic (moving into a new home, ...). But now that we are settled a bit and my home office is set-up, I should be able to upload a bit more 😇 ✌🏻

@@berndvandecruys Så gøy!! :) Hvorfor akkurat norsk? :) Gratulerer med nytt hjem! Det tar tid å «flytte» selv etter at man har flyttet inn. Man må pakke opp alle esker og finne plass til alt. The most amount of time is usually spent on making a home after one has moved :). Lykke til med norsk læring, ta gjerne kontakt om du trenger litt hjelp. Det er ikke lett å lære seg små språk.

I’ve been to Norway 2x already. Once on a road trip and once to see the Northern Lights in Trømsø. Loved it both times. The nature is absolutely stunning, people are super friendly. As a personal challenge I wanted to learn the language, because it also helps to understand Danish and Swedish in one go 😁.
If you could recommend a news website that has a variety of smaller articles to practice, that would be awesome. Or maybe Norwegian photographers on RUclips that post in Norsk 💯.

@@berndvandecruys Hoi/Salut :) Ik zou ‘t graag in ‘t Nederlands zeggen omdat ik de taal kon vloeiend spreken, maar ik heb er in Noorwegen veel van verloren. Such human stories are special and it was interesting to hear yours :). Very kind words! Norway is indeed rather off the beaten path for many but it is easy to go crazy about it once you know it :). I have a feeling those 2 trips will become more after a while. Let me know if you are in Oslo one day, I’d love to meet you in person if you are up for it :). I am afraid I do not know Norwegian photographers posting in Norwegian but Leica Store Oslo publish some videos sometimes in Norwegian here on YT. My learning languages has proven to be efficient in the past thanks to reading and translating news online in those languages. Also a good way to learn about the society, etc. I recommend NRK.no, Norwegian state TV online with links to radios and podcasts (if available from outside Norway). Others: aftenposten.no more serious but good quality, vg.no popular among many, ao.no. My go-to news page is NRK. Along with the very thorough and useful book (that includes CDs with audio) Teach Yourself Complete Norwegian you can get to a conversational level also on your own. Teach Yourself - Complete … in my opinion is very well explained and the audio is usually recorded by native speakers. Learning Norwegian to a semi-intermediate level is easy but it might take a life time to really master understanding the very different dialects (vi sees = me sjåast - see you/later), everyday spoken language and words you may hear every 5 years. That applies to many languages though. Indeed you can read Danish with Norwegian and hearing Swedish you will understand it more easily than written compared to Danish. Even some words in Faroese and Icelandic. Or cope with Norwegian in also-Swedish-speaking Finland :).About Norwegian dialects: one says jokingly that Danish and Swedish are just another Norwegian dialect :). Let me know if there is anything, happy to guide or advise when time allows.

Great photos - I liked them. One thing: @4:04 that purple/violet transformed into a nuance of red... Is it the film ?

Thanks! Indeed, well spotted. It's partially due to the white balance choice and interpretation of colour. The purple is the more accurate colour.
