Her last high note was recorded, not live.

OMG 😱 You're kidding right? 😢 Where did u get this information from? If this is true is just as disappointing as that time when Whitney Houston lipsynched the National Anthem (the whole song) and people went nuts over her performance ranking it as the best of all time, when Lady Gaga did a better job and sang live but it wasn't that big of a deal for people, they are just paying attention to her talented now because she was the lead actress in 'A star is born'. But back to Nicole, I'll do my research, I'm really curious now.

@@DouglasMigliassi im not kidding. It was discussed quite a bit after the performance with many agreeing that the last note was mimed. Many blamed our perfectionist culture for it. Its a performance that she cannot afford to screw up. All great singers have screwed up before, it doesn't make them any less good. But the producers wanted perfection. The thing is, the original singer for Christine Dale often use a pre-recorded version too. This is pretty well known. That E6 can damage anyone's vocal cords if sung too often.

@@TiaraDalmeida-hf4zp Wow. Thank u for telling me that. I appreciate it. And at the end of the day it is still an amazing performance and at least I felt what I felt when I saw it on Broadway. And just for the record I prefer an artist screwing up than lip sync songs in what should be a live performance or even concerts. I don't mind. I like to hear their raw voices.

@@DouglasMigliassi yes same here, imperfections can actually sound better. Usually imperfections can bring out emotions better. But sadly when a singer goes off key or something, the antis and haters will start attacking. It is very sad :(
