    It looks like you may have mastered this recipe. Im gonna try it with the addition of drawing the sorrel in wine instead of water along with the ginger and cinnamon sticks as well as adding some powdered ginger to the rest of the spices. The texture and richness you have here looks lovely!

      Thanks Tiff ❤️
      Your addition sounds amazing!!
      I try not to add alcohol to heat though, as it only will evaporate, but the flavor do remain 👍🏾
      Thank you for watching 😊

    • @tifflove692
      @tifflove692 28 дней назад +1

      @RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine , would you believe that I only steam my fruits in 100% alcohol? No water added. I did some research a few years back and it's partially a myth that the alcohol evaporates. While some do, it doesn't entirely. I've always loved your recipes. Thank you for responding 💫

      @RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine you are a wonderful person with a incredible vibe and it would be nice to one day meet but I know that will never happen but we can always think it right do you know what I'm listening to right now I'm not sure if you were a Madonna fan but she was so beautiful back in the day before she went insane LOL why couldn't she learn to age gracefully very sad but the song I was listening to is Papa Don't Preach which is a beautiful video and my favorite Madonna song I was lucky enough to see her in Toronto and I checked the date it was 1987 and there was 50,000 in attendance you should check it out it is so beautiful have a blessed day from my home to yours

    • @RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine
      @RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine  17 дней назад +1

      Hi deary
      Without the fruits or alcohol
      Same procedure, but 3 - 4 cups of puree sorrel instead, then soak or spray with the sorrel juice instead of alcohol.
