GH7 Specs in full frame would be amazing. I don't hope for a 60MP with bad video...
I think the challenge is readout times from a full-frame sensor. m43 does it a lot easier.

The name S2H doesn’t make sense. S1 is the flagship. H,R etc is the style. If they named it S2H it wouldn’t be a flagship anymore. That’s like naming the S5, the S6 then to S7 for the mark ii and iii. It would ruin the entire nomenclature. Regardless, I want it 😂.
maybe they will bring out the una s2 and then bring out a more powerful s1ii
Panasonic is not known for consistency. HVX200-HPX250 to HPX270. Then DVX200 from a standard DV camcorder DVX100. Personally I think there are way too many MFT snd FF models. Having so many production lines for research, and parts. Is unnecessary and expensive. One of the reasons it is thought in no S1H2 in 5 years.
S1R is most underrated camera ever. Absolutely fantastic! S1R II and S1H II would be great. As photo (and video!) camera S1R is great, "phase" will be just a polishing. Will be disappointing if they will change body and batteries, I hope it will be the same compatible with current one.
It would be nice if Panasonic, like Sony did with the A6700 and the AC II, which have essentially the same body ( and even different sensor types), would release an MFT camera that has the capabilities of the G9 Mark II, but in the body of the S9. Since the bodies of the S5, the G9 II and the GH7 are simply too big and too heavy for me, I would buy such a camera in a heartbeat, even at the price of the G9 II. The S9 may be smaller, but the FF lenses are still big and heavy due to the physics behind them.

if you call the successor to the s1 the s2 what will happen when it reaches the fifth generation (hopefully panasonic will continue making cameras until the fifth generation and beyond, I have seen reports that lumix is losing market share every year and if they stopped making cameras it would make me very sad, lumix is one of my favorite brands of cameras)

Andrea, is the third registered camera (in China from Panasonic) an upgraded version of the FZ80/82? If so, then nothing new from Panasonic this year.

Yeah he said there was an announcement this month but still nothing yet...
What even are you waiting for from Sony? Right now they have specialized cameras for everyone and any use case we well as the A1 and 9III that do basically everything.
8K sensor is good it gives Panasonic a flagship to match what Nikon, Canon and others have. Shooting action and worried about getting movements in frame. Shoot wider crop in a follow the action in post. Shooting a concert. Record 8K and you can go 400% zoom back and forth to appear as two camera angles. Or shoot 8K and deliver 4K or 6K to the client and the footage looks cleaner being over sampled.
Here's hoping for a (in 16:9) truly 8K camera with additional Open Gate capabilities
Something competitive with the upcoming canon r5ii and sony aRV would be amazing for me, I love taking photos and some video. I have all these L mount lenses for my s5iix please panasonic bring it.
S2h will be 40 mp stak sencor as z8, z9
or maybe 35mp

Could this have a Full Frame sensor with no cropping? 😗
It has to - if they stick with their old slow sensor that they've been using in their cameras for the past 5 years, nobody will take them seriously anymore. But I'm pretty sure they're aware of that and will introduce a newer faster sensor with their next generation of cameras (capable of 4k 120fp/s in full frame and greatly improved rolling shutter).
@andrea_pizzini Hi Andrea, I am desperately waiting for that bright aperture standard zoom (28-70mm) for the S Line. Do you think you will get any info about a possible release time soon?
I also noted that it moved up in the lens roadmap, now placed where the S PRO lenses are - do we know if it is going to be f/2.8 or f/2 ?
would the S2H/S1H II have the same body as the original or would it be a more boxy design kinda like the RED KOMODO/BS1H

Me too but while this doesn't mean they won't do it eventually, so far Panasonic said the reason they don't currently have stacked sensors is they can have more noise in the shadows than non stacked sensors.

What's the new rumor about nikon 6iii might use the sensor that will be used for sony a7s4 ... Any info about that?
While I could see it to be true that the S1R successor will use the 60MP sensor, I'd rather it didn't given the rolling shutter issues with the Leica. I have been waiting for an S1R successor with PDAF but I am debating whether to wait or just get a good condition used S1R body as I'd like a high resolution body for macro and landscape photography as I don't really need PDAF for that. I already have an S5II anyway.
I don’t see any reason why the S1H mk2 won’t match the new Nikon z6III in sensor specs. 6k60. Cropped 4k120. Same stuff as GH7. All of the raw goodness with maybe a special feature like ND.
I hope Lumix doesn't screw the pooch on this S1H successor.

Dì all’amico tuo, che la Panasonic si deve mettere nell’ordine delle idee di progettare meglio i suoi prodotti: mi riferisco più al DMW-XLR2 (possiedo il modello DMW-XLR1) che è molto scomodo utilizzarlo, del quale avrei preferito integrato nella maniglia superiore come l’analogo modello per la FX3/30!

Good morning Andrea, tell your friend that Panasonic needs to design its products better. I am referring to the DMW-XLR2 preamp which is very uncomfortable to use. From the experience with the previous DMW-XLR1 of very uncomfortable use, I would have preferred a product similar to Sony's XLR Handle Unit for the FX3/30
Where is s1ii and s1rii and s1hii ?
if s1h2 can have same stacked sensor with z9, it will become ultimate killer not only for video but also photo. color science will be decicive reason for me to take lumix over nikon z8...
