Nothing flies better.... up, down, backward, forward, sideways, hovers, ..... Eyes? It can see in all 360° and can see 200 images per second. Now... I'm off to tap the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
One of the coolest animals ever. To think they have stayed like that since before the dinosauers says it all. Another good reason to get a natural swimming pool and start carring about regenerating old waterways and wetlands that have been drained. Nature needs freeflowing/open water. The amount of species you can attract to your area just by adding water is beyond belief.
Hi David, we’re mid build and filling the pond at present. We’re not sure if we have a leak or if it’s evaporation that’s making the drop in water this last week or so. Any chance of a video on the effects of evaporation please.
I go fly fishing in the UK for trout. Entomology is part of that because your imitating the trouts food and the foods behaviour. It is very interesting and being able to tie and imitate these amazing creatures to catch fish is really exciting.
Nothing more scarier than seeing a dragonfly nymph for the first time. 😅😅😅
How about a giant pointing at you before your wings are fully deployed? 😂

It also is one of the most successful hunters on the planet
@SirFancyPantsMcee
That too.
Sounds like the fighter jet people have been trying to design for decades

Drones are probably their closest replica.

That's really cool they can live 2 years as nymphs! I always thought thry only lasted from spring to fall throughout their whole metamorphosis

Wonderful it is!
How glorious!
Fascinating!!
How does it fit in the brown suit?
I thought it was gonna be a bear in the pool. I guess just cooling off
I was so confused for a moment lol. I thought you were saying the dragon fly was emerging from the alive nymph

Looooool u look like my aunty
Fucking SICK
They are amazing creatures. Fly in any direction surviving the equivalent of 500G because of a water G suit. Fighter pilots struggle to survive 10G.
