Jimmy Johnson had this problem when he came in as the cowboys head coach. He got rid of guys just collecting a paycheck for guys who wanted to win. They won two superbowls. He left and won one more. Then they went down hill. Because of an owner who was thick headed and couldn’t swallow his pride. They lost their greatest coach. The jets need a enima. New good general manager and great head coach. Very tough guy. They make way too many penalties on both sides of the ball. Fix those things and they can be great. Until then. Same looser team.

To think the beginning of the season they actually thought the jets were superbowl contenders

They were flat out delusional in the beginning of the season. Jets need to be rebuilt from the ground up, similar to the Dallas Cowboys back in '89.

honestly I think there should be a rule for owners that if you own a team, you have a deadline of 8-10yrs to have at least 2 winning seasons during your tenure and if you don't you should be forced to sell "why wouldn't the nfl want ALL teams thriving and doing good? its better business for everyone" I'm a jets fan and we haven't had a winning season since 2010 this is not fair to the diehard fans that pour money into this team year after year for the same results. Theres some organizations that get it, there's others that have no clue and sadly woody is one of the morons in charge of this one

New Yorker her, but admittedly a biased giants fan(and therefore my opinion means admittedly nothing because my team and existence as a football fan is trash)…but I couldn’t agree more…it’s sickening and I don’t get it…it made sense when he was hurt and fans/media were still hanging onto the hope of one day peak Rodgers showing up for Gang Green or whatever…but it’s been a full season of the guy sucking now and the media here still defends him…I mean our local news/comedy segments are certainly very critical of him, but the sports media continues to coddle him and suck him off to be honest…I don’t get it…I guess when you’re a hall of famer and know a lot of ppl, a lot of ppl end up covering for you…money loves money is my best explanation…but yeah as a giants fan I can tell you make no mistake…plenty of us in the tristate saw this whole debacle coming like it always does with the jets and are sick and tired of this giant douche being projected by half our media as a NY superstar…it’s a stupid national narrative that we don’t all feel…I’m confident enough to say that even the most legit and realistic Jets fans would agree with me…it’s absolutely sickening that this douche gets praised by espn and shit like some NY messiah when the guy has been nothing but absolute trash here and is not a part of NY whatsoever. This isn’t me speaking as a giants fan at this point…I promise you…football fanaticism aside…NY does not accept this man…he’s done nothing for us and does not represent us…he’s a fraud and even the truest jet fan will tell you so…don’t buy into the media narratives every time.

Rodgers has the best numbers a Jet QB has had since 2015!
The Jets have lost 6 games when they’ve led in the 4th quarter!
The Jets FG kicker missed winning kicks against both Denver & Buffalo (games lost by less than 3 points).
Rodgers played hurt after getting brutal protection from Tyron Smith who was literally WASHED & guys were running by him like a turnstile early in the season.
Rodgers has like a 14 TD to 1 interception run going in the last 7 games.
This team is playing with no GM, a HC who has NO CLUE, they lost Jermaine Johnson, and CJ Mosely for the year.
The defense went from top 5 to bottom 5 in one year, they lead the league in DROPPED PASSES, are bottom 5 in penalties, and these Media morons are killing Aaron Rogers?
Just wait and see if they get a competent Head Coach in here like a Vrabel, a GM with a plan, they bring back Rogers & Adams on adjusted contracts, return 4 young starters on the Oline, a healthy Breece Hall whose been banged up all year, a 3rd WR that ISNT oily hands Alan Lazard & a competent FG kicker!
Rodgers has played pretty damn good football for 41 year old recovering from Achilles surgery & no doubt will be further ahead & healthier even heading into 2025.
Obviously the NY Jets need to find a young developmental QB, but you could do a lot worse in a bridge QB than Aaron Rogers!
The Media trying to obscure the facts of the Jets seasons woes are full of 💩 if they’re putting it all on Rodgers!

Rodgers is back to his 2022 level. Which is mid at best. Also is team cancer. The HC and OC are bad because of his choices. He won't be back that will cost $35 mil bonus. Being better than a couple of picks that didn't pan out and playing at 38 yr old McCown level isn't much to build on.

The Jets had some bad luck with Rodgers. He gets hurt last season and it usually take a few years for a player to get back to a good level, but he is older and nobody really cares about that because they wanted to win now. It backfired on the Jets and now they have to start over. Remember Aaron doesn't play defense.

Lebron James REMAINS BY FAR the greatest NBA player who’s ever been in existence! He’s literally like 5 years ahead in betterness of even second place. That’s how good his NBA career has been.
