I'm glad the weather was better than expected. It looks glorious, even with the intermittent showers. I am sorry to say I agree with you about the King's House. It was not our favorite, either. For such a nice building in a beautiful setting, it was very impersonal compared to the other places we stayed. We also were disappointed not to see any highland stags. I had seen video of them walking around in the parking lot, but we didn't see a one.
Kingshouse hotel at over £200 per night is only for rich people.. If you thought it was meh... Then either it was really crap or your expectations as rich Americans were toohigh, other than that I have enjoyed your videos even though you have not camped in a tent 1 single night.. Good work keep it up looking forward to the last section
I got the stay in the Kingshouse room as my birthday present. The building is beautiful, the room was nice, and the setting is stunning. However, the service was not good at the hotel or the restaurant. We don’t camp so that we won’t have to carry the gear. That isn’t our thing.

Yeah. However, I’m not sure how to organize the hike to avoid staying there. Next time, maybe we’ll try the bunkhouse.
