thanks for the video. this is getting done to my '03 aviator on tuesday. Great vehicle hardly ever hard a problem with it and still cruising smooth at 161,000 miles. this truck have never left me on the side of the road. when i turn the key i know its a guarantee this truck is ready to roll.
Really appreciate your video. I just replaced one of these on a customer's vehicle. Should've watched the part where you removed the air duct.. would've saved me some time.
I had this issue a few years ago with the trans side plastic connector breaking. You can buy assorted connectors in the "help" section and match up the size you need.
my cable broke at transmission and I wired it for last 2 years. Now I found NAPA has Gear Shifter Linkage Bushing PART # NOE 6151422. Today linkage broke at interior shifter. $10 fix!
If you don't mind me asking, how much was that cable alone from the dealer? I'm having that same problem at the moment and might end up doing it myself on my 03 Aviator.
I actually had a question for you as well. I changes my oil filter on my aviator and it seems to be leaking do you have this problem with yours? I tried not tightening it so much bit it still leaks.
Anthony, that was my first how to video so it is what it is. I no longer have the Aviator. I’m driving a Jeep now so I won’t be remaking this video for you. I’m sure it was better than no video at all which is what I had what I did the repair and video...

Do you know if I can install a oem lincoln gps into aviator without gps in it originally?
Do you know how to take the radio out?
antoniomckoy21 the plastic trimming around the radio comes off and youll need a screwdriver for a couple boats that will be holding the radio
