great review! please do a review on this 2005 aviator. so curious to know what you think about the handling and if you'd use it for road trips. do you feel it was worth $50,000 back in '05?
Just inherited an 03, pretty good shape - would love to see some more videos to help with upkeep and maintenance! Will be adding a backup camera, replacing the stereo head unit
I illiminated the rear wiper, and permanently sealed the back window to the hatch with gasket maker. Disconnected the glass open button on the rear, and its dead quiet and sealed now.
I'm 90% positive you just stick a small flathead or plastic tool on the outside top left corner where there is a small gap and that cover will pop off, I saw it on a video somewhere else. Bulb should be right behind it.
I’m looking at getting an 04’ with about 185,000 miles as a second hand vehicle. It’s in good to great condition for the most part. Are these vehicle reliable? Is maintenance expensive like Mercedes, bmw, Audi and Lexus? And can I do most maintenance myself? @SVTPerformance
It's pretty reliable. I've owned 2 and can honestly say that this has been more reliable than the newer and higher end vehicles I've owned (and currently own), mostly because it's just an upscale Explorer. You keep up with the maintenance and they'll last a very long time.
@@SVTPerformance i UPGRADED FROM A 2010 EXPLORER TO A 2013 Expedition, the noise was noticeably better. Had I known about these I might have looked for one. Perhaps I made a good investment though, thanks for the reply.
Please more aviator videos because I would like to see more about these SUV’s before I buy one
Your aviator is mint . Looks Well maintained I have a 04 super clean and stock . Thanks for the help
Yeah do a review of the Aviator, interior and exterior. Im curious as to what your experiences have been with this vehicle over the past 15 years.
Aviators have been our primary vehicle(s) for 20+ years, amazing SUV's.
Thank for the information. Your video was totally helpful!

Still waiting for the full vehicle review :) Curious about your experiences positive and negative with this truck!
We may shoot a few more vids with the Aviator in the next month or so.
Old ones are way more easier. My old Mustang headlight was held by 2 L shaped bracket that requires no tools
My 2005 Lincoln aviator my hatch in the back on the driver side is making a clicking sound ever time I cut the truck on what can it be
How do you fix the back latch on the 2005 aviator? Back hatch door is not closing

I need info on how to replace the turn signal indicator lamps on the lower edge of the LH side mirror. The vehicle is a 2006 Aviator.
Lincoln doesn’t have a 2006 Aviator. 😂
@@nano.joe.4851 Sorry, that was a typo - should have been 2005.

Thanks for that man
“Happy Gilmore” line lol!
Changed the headlight bulbs on my 2013 Explorer the other day in about 5 minutes with no tools. Way less work than this.
As far as touching the bulbs go, that’s only applicable to halogen and xenon headlight bulbs. Basic incandescent bulbs won’t blow if you touch them.
Currently I have a 05 Escape Hybrid. I don't know why but I want either an aviator or a explorer.
Get the Lincoln with the v8 you’d be in heaven

What about the fog lights
How quiet is the cabin when driving?
Basically just average by today's standards.
