For me, the wedding raised a major red flag when she had no family except her mother. Where was her mother’s African-American side? My first little High School job was in a busy cafeteria so I had to quickly do basic math in my head including calculating and adding tax. to this day I can still do basic math quickly in my head. The old cash register did not digitally do everything for me. I actually learned on an abacus as a young child and my 1917 born Engineer grandfather always carried a slide rule in his pocket 😜
