- Mingus Mtn Trail is a beautiful trail between Jerome, Arizona and Cottonwood, Arizona and it is great. It is not very difficult but has a single challenging section, which is really fun. Definitely check it out!

Been there, done that AND STILL LIKE IT!
Great times
Did most of it in a 2011 outback with a 2" lift. Had to turn around near the technical section due to someone stuck with a flat tire. Definitely would have had to choose my line very carefully!
I wouldn't necessarily say it was harder I would say it would be a little bit higher on the butt puckering scale😂
Why can’t I get All when I ring the bell for latest videos.
I’m not sure. If the bell is highlighted you should be sent a notification when the new videos are released. If it helps I release a video every Monday at 1pm.
Do you think a stock Jeep Grand Cherokee can make it? Do you need more than 9" of clearance if you take the right line?
You should be totally fine if you pick the proper line and go slow on the few rutted out sections. Have fun.
As always! Great video dude!
Thank you very much!!!
Great video! I grew up in Phoenix (moved there from CT in 1980 and left in 1990 when I joined the Army) and am continually amazed at how beautiful it is out there (didn't take the time when I was younger to appreciate it).
Thanks man. It is beautiful but I’m sure you remember how brutal the summers are!
@@AdventureBuilt Most definitely!
Man, how do you guys SURVIVE in this heat . . . in the desert . . . in Arizona?
Survive is the best you are going to get out of me. 4 months out of the year anyway. Hate the desert heat!!!!
Awesome video. Been meaning to ask Kelly if get much rubbing with the 35" tires?
Thank you very much. After much work on the truck I don’t get any rubbing thankfully!!!
@@AdventureBuilt Just had the Body Mount Chop done on mine with the pinch weld folded over and remolded the plastic. Trying to figure out if that's all that is needed or if there is more to clear 35's. Did you do anything else?
@@scottmiller7262 nice man. So you will still have to do some fender trimming. I only trimmed where it rubbed. I carried around a really sharp razor knife with a bunch of extra blades to just keep cutting. Outside of that you should be good.
Trevor looks like Chris Kyle from American Sniper movie.
Amazing ride...
I don’t know if I can take this comment seriously.😂
@@AdventureBuilt 😄
Nice over landing trail! Just did something similar in Big Bend Nat’l Park. Do y’all have plans to start selling some merch?
Thank you very much!!! Definitely one day.
4low the whole way?
Hell yes. Didn’t need it but had it!!!
Whoo, first! 😎
My man Fish is first of course. Hope all is well brother.
@@robertyoung8289 All’s good! Feeling cooked in this heat 😂 Hope you’re doing well yourself! 👍🏻
Nailed it!!!!
Any issue if you were to do the trail starting on Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood?
Is it an out-and-back or one-way?
It’s a one way trail but you can also do it as an out and back!
@@AdventureBuilt it starts or ends in Cottonwood?
@@mehGyver so we ended in Cottonwood but you can really do it either way.
Great Video, Is this trail one way? There didn't seem to be much passing room. Could get a little dicey on a pass.
Thank you. The trail is two way and there are pull offs to pass pretty frequently. We passed a few people on the trail and didn’t have any issues.
I think it’s closed right now due to fire 🔥 hazard. 😞
It was but just opened up. Strict fire restrictions are still in place. If you can make it go check it out. It’s a cool ride.
@@AdventureBuilt thank you sir. I’ll hit it up this weekend. :)
Who slams wine?!?! Oh ya my wife apparently!
Oh yes she does!!!
