Cindy thank you so much for all of ur videos! I passed my private pilot check ride yesterday! All ur videos helped me understand so much on everything i need to know. Very much appreciated!! Thank you!!
Thank you for going in depth on this Cyndy. I feel like my ground school just gave me the charts and kind of left us to fend for ourselves. Much appreciated!
@@nickde6339 I am at a regional airline now and I've definitely gotten rusty. It really does blow out the window once you finish all your FAA checkrides. After that, it's company recurrent checks that you focus on, which are pretty much their own thing. I wouldn't say it's unnecessary information, but as you progress your career you narrow your skillset to what suits the gig you're doing. For example, at a 135 cargo gig I had to do a paper weight and balance every leg, so I definitely had to re-learn a little bit of this stuff. The airline has their own way of doing W&B that is quite different. This is foundational knowledge that you should never truly "forget", but it's okay to be a little rusty if it's not a common practice at your job. It will happen.
It really is a bummer that you deleted all your content. I had never fully understood how the engine works until I saw your video. I would pay for those videos
Cindy : I’m gettin ready for my check ride in May or June, I’ve been reviewing your entire series of videos, they are extremely most helpful. Keep up the good work. Blue sky’s and tailwinds..
You are just incredible. Everything is easy when you teach. Thanks for using dark thicker pens. Would be great to inject real image of graph in between video. All in all I’m just happy. Thanks.
Hello Cyndy, I stumbled upon your videos and I am hooked. The way you explain things are very clearly understood. Is there a way I can get a sequence of what to watch and when. You tube is offering me your videos to watch randomly.
So, I'm guessing the arm is the distance from the datum line to the object/person? Also, looking at that equation, is the 'arm' synonymous with 'centre of gravity'? That is, once all of the equations have been done. I'd love to see what each number is measured in. Especially the moment and arm values.
You want to strive for an aft CG. An aft cg will give you a slower stall speed compared to a forward cg. An aft cg will give you a slightly higher crouse speed compared to a forward cg. An aft cg will burn less fuel on a long cross country flight. Remember, Never fly outside the cg envelope...Never. In small aircraft you have very little control of the cg...but some of you may be flying jumbo jets later on and an aft cg will save alot of fuel on a 10 hour flight. Blue Skys.

I am re-learning this stuff for Commercial and this has been incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Does one forget this stuff at some point further in ones career? is it no longer used as much as in GA?

Incredibly awesome 👏
Hello, excellent video, I have a question, if I have the fuel in liters, how can I convert that to pounds? Please help me captian
Does it matter if the arm is negative?
Will it make the moment negative as well or do we just ignore the sign?
Why did you delete all your old content? :( You should have made a "new content" playlist, then phased the old stuff out.
Your videos are great but could you please increase the quality of the video I mean the resolution
Do you have any idea how amazing you are!
Thank you !

Is basic empty weight "1450 .25" for all C152?
you are the best
I like your content... but was this taken on a camcorder?
Thank you
thank you Cydny
The moment is always supposed to be higher than the weight
nice
ffffff
Everything is amazing....your knowledge....but why the video ia so blur, making it difficult to see ..... seriously
How can me get high quality videos?
one saying
nose heavy birds fly hard, tail heavy birds fly once.
Gracias :)
Ma'am I want to toke with u how to communicate
Video resolution is too low...your white board is too fuzzy...
important fact, easy to recall
nose heavy birds fly hard
tail heavy birds fly ONCE
why 40*6
I can't for the life of me find the moment of the basic empty weight of my plane. Nowhere in the POH.
me neither, do you know how already? please tell me.Thanks
Jheisson Gonzalez I did find out. It is not in the POH. It is on a separate weight and balance sheet by itself that should be in the aircraft.
