its weird hearing people talk about playing elden ring like its new, when i 100%ed it in the first two weeks after release katanas tend to be bleed and dex focused, so dex arcane is ideal - but its worth considering that almost every significant enemy is extremely bleed resistant. i would recommend putting a dif status (so youre doing two different types of stat dmg) effect on your weps if youre relying on bleed to carry you. str is good for really heavy wep builds because you can pose break for stun and counter - i really liked great stars because its the only heavy wep that can bleed and that was what i was built for when i played. vaati only does lore and not gameplay, youre not missing anything by skipping it.
