another cool winter romance I read last week was "tis' the season for revenge" by Morgan Elizabeth. It isn't really a christmassy book but the FMC's main goal is to get into this huge christmas party that her ex never invited her to because he was embarrassed of her and she does that through fake dating his boss. A really fun, cute and faast-paced read!!! I finished it within a day.
The Curse of the Wolf King is definitely on my TBR! I can't wait to check it out once my local library has it available. As for Spinning Silver, I definitely recommend reading it- especially during the winter time, it just gives the perfect vibes. 📖❄💙👑🌲🐺
@@JustAli i know I also went into it thinking it was winter time based, sadly I was wrong. I read the prequel though “Christmas in Quincy” that 100% takes place in winter
Here are the books/series she talked about: Lovelight farms - B.K. Borison In a holidaze - Christina Lauren Faking Under the Mistletoe - Ashley Shepherd The Mistletoe Motive - Chloe Liese The Christmas Fix - Lucy Score Wreck the Halls - Tessa Bailey Kiss Her Once for Me - Alison Cochrun The Santa Suit - Mary Kay Andrews One Last Gift - Emily Stone Talk Santa to Me - Linda Urban Just Like Magic - Sarah Hogle The Holiday Swap - Maggie Knox A Merry Little Meet Cute - Julie Murphy NOT Christmas: the Knockemout Series - Lucy Score The Wall of Winnipeg and me - Mariana Zapata The Off Campus Series - Elle Kennedy Maple Hill Series - Hannah Grace From Lukov with Love - Mariana Zapata Indigo Ridge - Devney Perry (?) the american royals series - ??? The Fear - Natasha Preston Rock Paper Scissors - Alice Feeney The folk of the air series - Holly Black Entangled with Fae - Tessonja Odette Sin of Crows series - Natasha Raulerson I am NOT responsible for if the author's are wrong. You can find most of them on goodreads by just searching
The barren grounds is so good! Most of the book takes place in winter and it’s indigenous and a lion the witch and the wardrobe retelling. Definitely recommend it for people who are looking for a fantasy taking place in winter!
Highly recommend The Butterfly Project by Emma Scott. One of my favorite romances ever! It's a sweet romance set in NYC around the holidays, and has 2 wonderful main characters who deal with their pasts and self-forgiveness. No 3rd act breakup; also has sketched excerpts of the girl's graphic novel, so cool!
Thank you for the book recs Ali! I love the Christmas vibes for all the books, also Six of Crows is so worth the hype I hope you enjoy reading it and all your other holiday reads 🥳
One book that you should totally add to your holiday romances tbr that goes with Indigo Ridge is the novella of that series! it's called Christmas in Quincy and goes before Indigo Ridge - a perfect way to start the series and it goes perfectly with the Christmas, holiday vibes! 🥰🎄🫶 It was such a good book!
There’s also a book called The Sanatorium - it’s a mystery thriller, takes place (if I remember correctly) in Swiss alps (or somewhere in the alps area), and this ancient Sanatorium had been turned into a fancy hotel. The detective arrives there for personal reasons, and then the snowstorm hits, people start disappearing and dying in the hotel, and no police force can get to them through the snow. So she needs to figure out what’s happening, but she also has some PTSD. So it all unravels. It’s a very snowy book
I recommend 4 awesome Christmas books from the young readers genre and are on my tbr during the holidays. First are two written by Matt Haig a boy called Christmas and the girl who saved Christmas. Next we have Juniper's Christmas by eoin Colfer and Finally my all time favorite the Christmas pig by J.K. Rowling. What makes it my favorite is the audiobook that evolves a full cast and music background.
I love all the wintery/Holiday book recs. ❤ I read The Santa Suit last year and i thought it was a cute holiday book. Im def. In the mood for some hockey romances so I'll be enjoying some of those this winter season. Another great video 😁❄️🎄
Hey Ali I would recommend You’ve Reached Sam! It’s about this girl who’s bf dies and she’s able to still call him. I think you would like it because it’s short and it’s a romance! I hope you see this recommendation and try it out! I am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. Enjoy!
I'd recommend The Butterfly Project by Emma Scott! It's one of my absolute favorites! It's not totally about Christmas but takes place in New York City around Christmas/New Year's, and has a sweet romance between broken characters learning to forgive themselves.
Hi Ali, I just wanted tell you that that I really really want to read So This Is Love (the twisted tales book) because I read it and I really think you would like it and I don't think you have read it yet.
