What was the production date for this vehicle? I’m trying to get an actuator for my car and my car has a production date of before/up-to 11/02/2009, and a parts sales associate told me this actuator would fit my car, the door lock actuator seems similar to the one you have in the video, it also has 9 pins.
Also this shares the part number with the Porsche Cayenne right?
3:27, you were supposed to pull and hold the handle out while unscrewing that torx 20 inside the frame, would’ve made it easier for you to take the handle out. But yes as you said, you didn’t need to take out the whole handle. As always thanks for the video!

It's the same thing that happens to me, and I have to change the lock, but it's on the passenger side. Same symptoms
I noticed your car is LHD, I have a UK Based RHD Audi B8 Like yours and was wondering if you had to replace the headlights to accomidate to the UK Roads or were you able to simply adjust them? I know Audi Has the MMI Setting for driving in foreign country's but was wondering if that would be suitable for Exporting the car or if they would have to be replaced?
they would have to be replaced as the mmi setting only lowers the headlight not to blind other road users. it does not give the correct shape for the car to pass the MOT.

I had replace both door lock actuators on my B8 A5.
what symptoms?
Recently i remplace the actuador.. everything is working perfectly but it can’t used the key to unlock or set the alarm..I have to used the remote control..wintering if I have to reset my key or something.?
you are saying that the mechanical key does not work ?
Will this need any specific settings to match the key button?
no. the key cylinder is a separate unit.
the lock cyliner had a 2 or 3 inch cable or wire off of the back of it. Did that need to be connected to anything?
check the video, I don't remember anymore, it was a long long time ago
Having issue putting the lock cylinder back in, no matter what I try it just won't go in the last little bit, any clue?
take a brake ... breath in breath out ... wiggle the mechanism ... make sure all other elements are sitting flush ... have good light and inspect the parts ... it is hard to say what is wrong over the internet
@@BestCarMods thanks that actually help to take a break and inspect. The white plastic wasn't lined up all the way so had to loose the actuator again and play with it while feeling it on the key side if that makes sense [didn't have an extra helper] and then once all was lined up it went in no issues.

Is there away to get the door open when it is stuck shut? Door won't open inside or out
don't know. never had that problem. The mechanical lock should work always.
What was the specific Audi tool ?

Salut, dupa ce am reparat actuatorul si am montat totul la loc, cand incui masina din cheie nu mai semnalizeaza. Care sa fie problema?
de regula masinile nu semnalizeaza cand ai o usa pe care o vede ca inchisa partial (la modul ca daca tu ai doar prima etapa, prima faza de inchidere facuta si nu e complet inchisa usa, semnalizarea nu se activeaza) vezi ce gasesti legat de asta ... poate un switch in noul actuator nu functioneaza ... ruclips.net/video/neAtuv36rj4/видео.html
