      I would like to say that I have a skincare regime, I've dabbled in face exercises, and my genes don't hurt either, but the most likely culprit is probably just a medium-quality camcorder that conceals all my flaws behind pixelation 😂 Thank you for your kind compliment, though!

    I have a 32 medium bust. Even though I have a bust mearement of 45; it fits perfectly. I had to return the large bust that I purchased, as it was too loose in the bust. Love this corset i have been wearing a lot and it gives great support.

      WOW maybe I'll try it. I have a bust measurement of 52 so hopefully I'll finally be able to wear and overbust.

    Hello! I like the beige one. I'm here because I"m thinking of replacing my bras with corsets. I'm not sure how to pull that off but I think that I want more support from my torso. I want it to look normal, though, not dramatic or like a costume. The beige one here is close to what I'm thinking

    I have the zip version of this and I'm wondering if there's any trick to getting in and out quick or do I need to tie the ties in front and completely undo it with every wear?

    What is the cashmere fabric like to the touch? Is it more like satin, or cotton? When I think of cashmere I think of super soft fuzzy fabric and I’m not sure if that would be the choice for me in a corset.

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  4 года назад +11

      It feels very much like cotton twill, except a little bit more of a fine weave! It definitely doesn't feel like a fuzzy sweater, and I don't find it to be itchy either. :) The nice thing about it is it's pretty hard-wearing, doesn't wrinkle much on corsets, and it's abrasion resistant (so won't easily show pulls if you get velcro stuck to it, for instance). Many folks don't even notice the difference between the cashmere or the cotton, except some comment that it's "really densely woven" and "a more saturated black" (wool fibers grab onto dyes more strongly than cotton, and resist fading in the sunlight over time).
      The corsets can be special ordered in plain black cotton if you want, but there's a reason why the cashmere has been one of the best sellers.

    • @AshHeaven
      @AshHeaven 4 года назад

      Cashmere is a fiber made from a specific type of goat’s hair. The fabric of the Timeless Trends cashmere corsets are twill, which is just the fiber woven with a diagonal weave. It should not feel fuzzy, but maybe can be a bit warmer for colder months than cotton fiber.

    Is this a slightly cupped rib or is it conical? I find it so hard to tell with overbust corsets.

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  3 года назад

      It’s really in between the two. It is gently convex, but not enough to be “cupped” per se.

    How does it look under clothes? I am unsure about the laces on my large bust

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  4 года назад +7

      The bow from the laces can easily be tucked inside so that it not the primary issue. Overbust corsets (regardless of the brand) are never as "stealthy" compared to a basic underbust combined with a bra. The way that it supports and shapes the bust is different from most bras. If you're looking for something that shapes the bust like a bra but supports like a corset, I would recommend commissioning a corsetiere to make you a custom fit overbust with bust cups.

    I have an old car seat. I wear because from the front and the shoulder straps. Dig in to my shoulders very, very strongly leaving mark's behind forever. I put on the last 3 Assumes, we're pretty good, but i'd like to get something new or no new new.

  • @fiveminutefridays
    @fiveminutefridays 3 года назад +2

    Would you recommend this for a first corset? I have been researching a little as i've been interested for a while in trying out corsets both for my posture and for bust support. This is the first OTR overbust I've seen that looks like it'd do well for larger busts like mine. I'd be interested to see how it looks under clothing. I know overbusts are supposed to be less ideal for stealthing but just as a first impression, the silhouette of this doesn't seem too wild, especially if the clothes over it aren't as form-fitting?

    • @LucysCorsetry
      @LucysCorsetry  3 года назад +6

      The stealthability of the overbust corsets is less about the dramatic waist reduction and more about the shape of the bustline. Corsets support differently than bras - with most modern, foam cup underwired bras, it will give a “teardrop” shape to the bust, where it’s rounded at the bottom and flatter at the top. Most overbust corsets push upwards on the breast tissue, creating a slightly flatter bottom and fuller top, creating almost a “moons on the horizon” shape with fuller busts. This corset squeezes the bust less than other styles, but this is the main reason why overbusts are difficult to hide under clothing, with exception to maybe hoodies and other figure-hiding winter clothes. The main way to get around this is to try a corset with bust cups that resembles a bra - but these are far more expensive as they typically have to be made custom to your measurements.

      @@LucysCorsetry ah i think i flubbed the vocab there! When i said "silhouette" i was referring to the shape of the bust area, but i guess thats more of a waist-specific term in corset topics! I definitely don't have the budget currently for a good cupped corset (and in any case I'm currently planning on picking two or so very entry-level OTRs (probably one overbust and one underbust) to see if corsetting is right for me) but it definitely makes sense that total stealth is impossible in a standard overbust. I did see one photo on reddit of someone wearing this corset and it does look like it stealths a *little* under non-form-fitting shirts. I suppose if I end up choosing this as my first overbust (which is seeming likely at this point) I can find out myself what outfits work and dont!

    Hello, I apologize for the non-standard question, but I need a hard corset that squeezes and pushes out the chest as tightly as possible, what would you advise me or who to contact?

    • @lisapugh5015
      @lisapugh5015 3 года назад +1

      Pushes out the chest as tightly as possibly?
      Tightly suggested an inward force. Pushes suggest an outward force.
      Do you mean like an s bend corset?
