- The FMS Chevy K10 is back. Although a fantastic looking truck right out of the box, especially for the price, I felt there was still room for improvement. With just a little paint and a marker, I made a couple cosmetic enhancements to the body that although subtle, really improve the overall look of the truck. What mods do you think I should do next?

hey man, i recommend getting a liquid chrome pen from a hobby/craft store. it looks more realistic than a silver sharpie and it has a mirror effect you cant get with normal markers on plastic
Specifically a molotow chrome marker, insane how good it looks.
i tried these liquid chrome pens, they disappoint me, they turn gray if you ever handle the painted surface, even months after painting. same thing happens if you clear coat it, i think its because they are oil based.
Awesome work on the grille and trim! Those two bits and the door handles are the exact same reasons mine is apart for detail painting right now. I'm also super excited to buy your killer camper shell soon! I'm really new to the hobby and on a super tight budget though so I may not be able to swing it for a week or two. Also I'm in full agreement on the suspension. As a K5 Blazer owner and classic 4x4 enthusiast I put my personal stamp of approval on the trucks suspension behavior. All its little shakes and shimmies and hops remind me of bombing around in my real Blazer. Unfortunately though some of them seem to have a weak spring on one side in the rear causing them to sag/list under load. But luckily I have a free fix vid for this issue coming out soon.
The silver sharpie looks pretty good, but the chrome pens work even better! Amazon sells them in sets with 3 sizes of tips. Cheap!

I purchased the shell and painted it red. My windows weren't done that good but in the end made them look used like a real one.👍
Oil paint markers is where it’s at. Medium,fine,super fine.
Definitely enhances an already nice looking truck
Use an acrylic pen goes on very easy and it paint in a pen which makes it easy to use

Add a gearbox with 3-4 speeds.
They should have just done that already out of the box honestly.
