What a beautiful tribute you have made here! :) The trouble is nobody seems to be watching this show. Anyone I ask has never even heard of it - which is a shame because it's incredible.
I love this show, it's actually created by a guy named Ray McKinnon, who was on season 4 of Sons of Anarchy as Lincoln Potter. Ray is my distant cousin, and we both share the same last name. He's a really good guy and I love the job he did with this show.
Very underrated show, in the sense that it doesn't have many viewers, but I guess special art like this does not attract many people, and I'm kinda selfishly glad it didn't. I think a show shouldn't be rated based on how many people watch it but by how the people that do watch it are affected by it. I wonder why you didn't put in the "Because I know you" scene as it's one of the most poignant?
Thanks for the comment, Emilien! I'm completely with you on everything there. And I always like seeing 'Rectify' get accolades, be from mainstream or more obscure media. I would've loved to have used the "Because I know you" scene, but since it has music of its own swelling in the background (and I wasn't able to get my hands on a 6-channel/5.1 surround sound file at the time to possibly isolate the track with *just* the talking) that I didn't want the original score from the scene to clash with the music I edited to. I worked it into the title because I love it so damn much and had to have it still be a part of this video. As a silver lining, I like to think having it in the title is also a nod to those who know the show and appreciate that scene in particular.
What a wonderful performance but Aden young just can across this show and could not stop watching till the end even at the end found my self wanting more five star performance from mr young time to find more of his work great show👍👍👍
@@angelamighty6467 Definitely, the show was supposed to be longer than 4 seasons, unfortunately they got told after season 3 I believe that the fourth one was gonna be the last one so fortunately they let the producers wrap things up in the last season and not just cancel it but still maybe it could have been even better with an extra season?
I saw this show way before it was on Netflix. The best scenes are actually hard to find now on RUclips... but I absolutely love this version of "where is my mind". Fight Club reminds me of being a little teenage girl again.
Wow, I didn't realize anyone else had watched this show besides me. Great video that gave me chills the entire time. Can't wait for the second season (if there is one)
Brian Williams GoBluesGaming Apparently the second season starts in Summer (America's Summer)... that's as specific a date as the Sundance channel has, and they say it's scheduled for ten episodes. Brilliant news for the fans. I think it'll be worth the wait.

I've been meaning to see Rectify one of these days and your video just increase my curiosity of the show with its introspective focus on the show's main character and his post-prison life. The piano cover on Where is My Mind? is a nice, fitting touch.
Great show. I don't usually watch tv series but this is so well-made and intelligent you want to keep watching and the characters can be identified with.
