    These lectures are a God sent. I can force myself to learn through reading, but when I can pair what I’ve read with a follow up conversation it really sticks. Thanks for your time and knowledge Dean.

    Thank you so much for breaking down the nuances. The way you are pointing out the differences in subtle VERBIAGE is everything and something the paid courses don't do to the extent you are. Also, I agree, you are a great teacher and you have a great ratio of splashing in your personality.

    At 56:40 for buy stop limits. I am trying to understand buy stop limit orders. If he wants his price or better and he would accept the order at 97.00 why wouldn't the order be triggered at 97.95?

    • @Series7Guru
      @Series7Guru  Год назад

      It is not his order. It is the trade that triggered his order. Two seperate events. Now after the trigger it is a live limit order.

      @@Series7Guru Thank you for your reply, also for a regular sell stop question for an example I have sell stop at 50 if the stock hits 50 or lower The order executes, does the sell stop order keep going off if the price is higher than 50 once it's triggered ?

    Hi Dean, why would a sell stop be used over a sell limit/sell stop limit to protect against a loss, as it may be executed at a much lower price? Thanks!

    Hey Dean! I have been utilizing training consultants for studying related to the series 7 and in my book it’s stating for sell stops or buy stops you have to use “2 ticks” for your execution order after the trigger price.. Is that correct? I was a tad confused when I watched what you stated at 30:29. If I’m massively confused please correct me!

    • @Series7Guru
      @Series7Guru  3 года назад +1

      Without seeing their content think they mean what I call two seperate events or trades. Tick or trade to trigger or elect and another tick or trade for execution. My content is correct and how you will see it on the exam.

    1465127 on Kaplan, how is the answer all of them, wouldn't it just be I and II? Buy Stop is when its bought at a certain price or less.... C and D are above the placed price? HELP :)

      No. A buy stop is NOT at a certain price. It is a contingent order that becomes a live when there is atrade at or through a certain price.
