Yeah demon has always been an uncomfortable one for me too even though I’m a much stronger down picker than I am alternate

Playing the Hand of Blood chorus was how I taught myself how to palm mute. Just over and over again. No, not tight enough. No, I'm choking the note. Just finding that sweet spot to get the chug right.

Great riff selections, for me the song that actually got me into playing metalcore guitar was Room 409 which was the first song I ever learned on guitar....really weird for a beginner to begin playing on a (badly) drop c tuned guitar. PS:: I have said it for AGES...A place where you belong is an amazing BEAUTIFUL song. I really agree with Matt on that interview where he talked about the attention it didn`t get. Absolutely amazing song

quick question… you play “The Poison” and “Don’t Need You” with the same guitar and therefore the same tuning. yet it's not the same on the two songs, right?

Yeah for the sake of the video I just kept it all in the same tuning for timings sake and efficiency. Poison is drop C and don’t need you is drop B.
