  • Check out the 2024 Bighorn Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run, a challenging adventure through the stunning Bighorn Mountains. Considered one of, if the not the most wild and beautiful 100 mile race in the US. Both a Hardrock 100 and Western States 100 qualifier, this year's race was particularly stunning and tough. Offering picture perfect views from the trail and temperatures soaring into the 90s both days, testing the limits of every runner over 100 miles and 20,000+ feet of elevation gain.
The Bighorn Trail 100 race was first held in 2002, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Bighorn Mountain Wild and Scenic Trail runs. These events were started by local trail runners to protect the Dry Fork and Little Bighorn River Canyons from development, showcasing the natural beauty and rugged terrain of the area. Despite the harsh weather, the spirit of the race and the dedication of the participants and volunteers shone through, continuing the tradition of promoting recreation and tourism in Sheridan County.
Join me in reliving this unforgettable experience, filled with breathtaking scenery, immense challenges, and the camaraderie of the trail running community. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more trail running adventures!

I DNF'd at this race at 66, but it was insanely beautiful. I'd love to run it back and get this done next time!
