9:50 tbf if sylas was tuned into more dmg hed be ridiculous. The champ is a utility bruiser with and enage and brawl style but emphasis is on utility, dmg soak and counter engage. If his dmg was overturned and he maintained that level of scrappiness and sustain hed be beyond broken.
yea I dont agree with dom here, Sylas dmg is pretty good when you consider everything else he does good. When you get ahead with him you can easily burst squishys while being in almost no danger of dying or being outplayed. When you are even his dmg is rather good than mediocre and when you are behind you are not even useless. I like playing sylas and I would actually say that riot should definitely not turn his dmg up atm because then he would be op and get destroyed again after.
That game 2 sylas performance is one of the best games I have ever seen. Caps is the best western player of all time and it isn’t that much of an argument
He's arguably one of the best players in the world, second only to Faker (and we'll see how long that lasts) and probably in ex-aequo with Perkz (and only because Perkz was a beast of a midlaner, considered the best in the West together with Caps, and made a successful transition to adc while still performing at Worlds level and stomping some of the greatest adc's that were considered to be best adc's at their position, and at that time, by many). Several midlaners challenged Fakers stature, but only Caps has been performing consistently year in, year out, ever since he started pro playing. Doesn't translate to trophies as it did with SKT, but todays League has a smaller gap between LCK, LPL and EU than it used to have, there's way more competition now than there ever was. Not even SKT wins anymore.

He's won MSI, he's a 2 time World's finalist back to back, and has made Semi's so far in this Worlds. Not a lot of players can boast those same type of achievements.
Even if G2 loses the semifinal, I think we can safely say that for the past 2 years this team has been the most consistently strong in Bo5's in the world.

As a G2 fan, up until this series, I was worried, jankos was not performing well in this meta, Claps hadnt shown up and they looked shaky. They arent at their MSI 2019 best, but I have confidence again. They do need to clear up their laneing phase. Damwon have been down in kills, up in gold at 10 too much, but if game 2 caps shows up again, they can win for sure. And Jankos showed a great performance on the 3 meta junglers this series too.
the Sylas build is completely wack for caps. sheen on him is very strong. but you need other items before you can build it. not sure about the liandrys torment. Maybe for wave clear which he does lack. He does weak damage but if you get ahead with him i feel like its very hard to lose since you can stay in the fight so so long.( which is key about sylas)

Well G2 have both the performance and mental edge over DWG so yea I would say they for sure have a good chance to win. Will they choke against most likley TES? well fnatic almost beat them and G2 usually crush fnatic so yes I would say they have a good chance there aswell. TES have been playing alot worse in worlds compared to what they did in their own region which have given them a reputation of being overated. But we will see who shows up on that day.
