I think the term we're looking for is "divisive" - from a technical perspective, it's an incredible piece of work. From other aspects, it's an abject waste of money, more so for those who had their land taken from them forceably, only for the project to be cancelled for that area.
00:00-00:10 Looking west towards Birmingham with the Attleboro Flyover in the foreground where trains from London and the north crossover, Attleboro Lane Overbridge can also be seen in the background 00:11-00:26 Looking south across the M42/M6 Toll with the beginnings of the M42 Coleshill North Viaduct and M42 Coleshill Box Structure in the foreground, River Cole Viaducts can be seen as well 00:27-00:53 Looking north with a close up view of the piers for the M42 Coleshill North Viaduct on the north side of the M42/M6 Toll 00:54-04:31 Delta Junction (North Cord) 00:54 Looking south with the M42/M6 Toll on the right and the Water Orton No. 1 and 3 viaducts in the foreground 01:58 Attleboro Flyover 02:31 M42-M6 Motorway Link East (left) and West (right) Viaducts 04:15 Looking back towards the Attleboro Flyover and Attleboro Lane Overbridge 04:32-12:04 Delta Junction (Main Line) 04:32 Looking north with the River Cole Viaducts on the left 04:43 M42 Coleshill North Viaduct 05:28 The same piers from 00:27 05:38-06:12 Close up again 06:22 Site of Footpath M62 Overbridge 07:00 Chattle Hill Box Structure 07:13 Water Orton No. 1 and 3 Viaducts 07:29 M42-M6 Motorway Link East Viaduct in the top left 08:01 Attleboro Flyover 08:07 Attleboro Lane Overbridge 08:52 Watton House Viaduct to the right of centre 09:05 (L-R) Water Orton No. 2 Viaduct, Straddle bents and piers for Water Orton No. 1 Viaduct 09:36 (L-R) Water Orton No. 2 Viaduct, River Tame West Viaduct (2 piers for 3 tracks), Water Orton No. 1 Viaduct, River Tame East Viaduct 09:53 (L-R) Curdworth Viaduct, Water Orton No. 1 Viaduct, River Tame East Viaduct
Well worth the time and effort. "Rewilding" after completion will be the icing on the cake here.
