SALAMANCA CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT VOTE RESULTS MAY 21, 2024
PROPOSITION NO. 1: 2024-2025 BUDGET
BE IT RESOLVED, that 191 yes votes, and 28 no votes, and _______ blank votes were cast, that the budget for the Salamanca City Central School District, Cattaraugus County, Salamanca, New York (the “District”) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, as presented by the Board of Education, is hereby approved and adopted, and the required funds therefor are hereby appropriated and the necessary real property taxes required shall be raised by a tax on the taxable property in the District to be levied and collected as required by law; we declare that Proposition No. 1, the School District 2024-2025 Budget vote IS/IS NOT adopted.
PROPOSITION NO. 2: Purchase of Real Property
BE IT RESOLVED, that 165 yes votes, and 55 no votes, and _______ blank votes were cast, that the Board of Education (the “Board”) of the Salamanca City Central School District, Cattaraugus County, New York (the “District”) is hereby authorized to purchase the following parcels of real property located in the City of Salamanca, New York for the following purchase prices, as follows: (1) 734 Broad Street, SBL No. 73.069-1-39 for a purchase price of $2,300,000; (2) 545 East State Street, SBL Nos. 73.073-6-29 and 73.073-6-30 for a purchase price of $262,500; and (3) 47 Sullivan Street, SBL No. 73-073-6-37 for a purchase price of $27,500, subject to certain conditions set forth in the respective purchase contracts between the parties, and upon such other terms and conditions as the Board shall deem appropriate, with such expenditures to be made from available funds of the District, without the necessity of borrowing; we declare that Proposition No. 2, the Purchase of Real Property vote IS/IS NOT adopted.

BE IT RESOLVED, that having examined the report of the election inspectors for the annual school board election held on May 21, 2024 the following persons were cast votes for the two vacant seats:
