    I am service connected with migraines and these things are still with me ,my doctors said there is not enough information on the brain to make a determination , ive been out of service since 78. I also think its doing damage to my brain and my life.

    Chronic Pain. Welcome to my world. I really cannot remember when I have not been in pain. The pain and constant ringing in the ears is a constant companion these days .

      Veterans who wish to increase their VA disability benefits can take several different approaches, including filing a claim for an increase in benefits, adding additional service-connected conditions, appealing a rating decision, or seeking individual unemployability benefits. How would one go about obtaining a diagnosis for chronic pain?

    • @woodslawyers
      @woodslawyers  6 месяцев назад +2

      A service connection must be established for all VA disability claims. A claim for VA disability benefits for chronic pain must include evidence that the pain manifested or worsened during your service. There are several ways to go about this.
      - Pain manifesting in service
      - Pain aggravated by service
      - Chronic pain diagnosed after service

      These are great questions, we don't mind having conversations with our viewers! Veterans are free to choose what type of doctor they want to see. It can be your primary care physician or a VA doctor.
