Yes, Voice Over is very useful tool! but it's a bit awkward when you turn it on accidentally and think that your Mac is broken ( happened to me) But I agree, Voice Over is and will always be a very useful tool, just like Siri for the Iphone 4S

Thanks a million for posting this!! I have worked with Macs for 20+ years and never used this feature, so when one of my enabled it, I was clueless how to deactive this annoyance. I think they were trying to get access to the password on my computer, which I recently changed.
I usually NEVER make comments after going onto RUclips and gathering something that I need. I simply get the info and leave. But What you did was so helpful and simple, considering that voice was driving me up the wall, that I really appreciated it. Thanks, kid. You're great.
