to activate the tripel tap for the home button, go to settings, general, accessibility, and select accessibility shortcut, and select voiceover. as for voiceover practice, there should be a "voiceover practice" button in the voiceover settings.

if you need to type in a passcode, hold your finger on the number you need to enter, and tap with another finger. this is what is called a split tap.
