If you want to get your authority and you have the start up money I say go for it. These guys that say just stay at Landstar or any other company are just content with mediocrity.. If the rates we would get are before we lose 35 percent I think we'd be ok. If you add up the money we're losing every week on 35 percent that's insurance and a trailer payment in a week or two.

Hate to say it. I fell into the crybaby trap. I tried not too. Sold my truck. But take a step back to regroup and comeback to landstar once i get another truck. Hope so. Be safe

I think u will have a lot of trouble finding loads with your own authority till it’s over a year old most shippers don’t want u hauling unless it’s over a year
