Something soo captivating with the brand. Own all the big name watches, and I am most impressed by the Panerai build quality. It feels soo substantial. Great vid!
This is so ABSOLUTELY beautiful and simple and just so desirable. It looks great on that wrist. Now I want one more then ever. It is true, until you try it on and give it a minute or two it is so hard not to fall in love with that Sandwich dial, that super unique crown guard, simple face set up and just about any strap you put on it. What a watch, thanks for making this video. Long live the Paneristi ! ~"Love the watch you wear"~
I got into luxury watches a few months ago and I have a Tudor. Panerai went from zero to wanted in my view over the last 2 weeks once I tried it on for myself. It’s definitely on my wish list for in a few years
I have this watch. It's a favorite in my collection and I wear it all the time. So many miserable sods slagging anything off they do not like. Horses for courses!
Just came across your channel and this vid. Amazing content! Incredible watch! It really ticks all those boxes. Could almost be a 1 watch collection contender...
Beautiful watch. I have one Panerai in my collection, the 359. I like it a lot, in fact that is one watch everyone in my family and friend circle unanimously like! I bought my watches not as investments, I bought them just because I love their looks, quality and appeal. There would be opinions about any watch based on personal preferences or from an investment point of view, but if you like it, thats all matters. Wear it well.
exactly what happened to me.... never considered panerai when i was buying my first watch till i held one in my hand.. now a proud owner of a pam 112,,
you need to do more reviews. loved the pacing the style ... very well done. Captured the essence of the watch as well ... could have been an extended advertisement for panerai :)
Buying a used Panerai from anybody other than an authorized dealer can be a really dangerous activity. The replicas of these watches are so well done that only somebody with a lot of experience servicing these pieces will be able to tell a copy form an original on some of the models. The 111 is particularly risky because the noob factory replica has been refined extensively. (Seven versions) Caveat Emptor, folks!
Not that I don't believe you or anything, but do you know where these replicas are from? All the replicas I've seen have been decently obviously and it'd be interesting to know where the more clone-like replicas are coming from
@@87channels They come from China and Vietnam. I'm not knocking them, I own several. My point is, they're becoming so good that anybody purchasing an expensive vintage piece like a 6538, 6542 or even one of the earlier 5512's, had better be extremely careful.
Congrats to your latest addition to your collection. The 111 is a beautiful watch and to be preferred over the newer in-house movements, not a big fan of them. Great review of a great watch, keep them coming. Have a happy new year soon, all the best, Konstantin 👍🏻🙏🏻
Bro you are by far my go to for watch reviews. Fuck erbody else. I get the thought provoking feeling that people like me are, shall we say, as an atypical watch enthusiast; feeling disconnected from the current selection of creators of watch content on RUclips. You sir, are deserving of my attention.
Magister, I for one completely disagree with your comments and opinion. But then it’s an opinion. YoureTerrific was completely honest in his...... he said it was never a Watch for him and then tried it on. You don’t like it..... that’s fine, but many such as myself love the Panerai because it is versatile. You just come across as a watch snob with your hipster comment. If everyone loved the same watch there would only be one watch company in the world..... Rolex I’d imagine with you. Love the watch, love the video........ hope you have many happy years and memories with your watch
Great vid. Not sure if you know the answer, but I am considering the 111 or the 510. Is the only difference the ETA vs in-house 8 day power reserve? I heard the 510 has a slimmer case. Thanks
I'm not sure about the dimensions. I hadn't heard that. But I can tell you that newer 510s do not have a sandwich dial, which is one of the reasons I went with the 111. But the 8-day movement is quite impressive.
Awesome video. Like you, (as i understand from your video) I’ve never been overly enamoured with the Panerai oversized jumbo dimension vibe. I didn’t hate them but they didn’t appeal. However, I can see from this video the calm open mindedness with which you approached this purchase. The overcoming of one’s initial misgivings and doubts has a unique pleasure of its very own if one decides that there is something worthy in the final analysis. (I very much appreciate the balance the subdial gives to the enormous trademark crown guard). The strap too compliments/offsets the gun steel aesthetic of the dial and case. As always, I applaud your taste and the life philosophy that is enabled by it (and vice versa).
Probably the slickest watch review I've ever seen. 10/10 for everything.
Buying this for my 50th. Beautiful on so many levels. "My experiences, my heritage" Perfect.

What a fantastic video! I really want this watch. 99 percent sure its my next significant purchase
Looks like you found yours!
Love these watches, and screw anyone who complains about them. Thats my favorite model. Well done video.
Man that Panerai looks great
Great video, I'm thinking of buying a pam111 and after this video I'm another step closer. Thank you 👍

Katholika Setiawan High praise
Katholika Setiawan totally agree with you.. Same thoughts

2. The look
3. The.. MVMT
Heritage everyone!
That’s one beautiful watch.
There’s nothing cooler than a manually wound watch with a transparent case back.
Fantastic video. Could be the best ad for Panerai.
Was looking for a good Panerai Luminor review and found this - it's perfect. Love the watch.
I have this watch. It's a favorite in my collection and I wear it all the time. So many miserable sods slagging anything off they do not like. Horses for courses!
Thanks man, just ordered one lol... my 2nd one, sold the First and regretted it immediately
italian stuff: there's no reason for love it, but somehow you do.
It has real history especially the SLC.
Just discovered this channel. Amazing. Now gonna go through every single one of your vids!
Nice video. I bought my PAM 111 around 2006 ...I love it!
I never had an aspiration for a luxury watch! Until I got my first Luminor last literally last weekend! I can’t take my eyes off of it!
Congratulations! The Italians know a thing or two about beauty, elegance and charm.
I had the EXACT SAME THING. I hated them; put one on; never took it off.
Panerai are simple the most beautifully designed , it’s sublime and unique

Excellent production values. And that 44mm looks good on you.
Same. I eschewed Panerai until I tried one on. Now my Panerai is my favorite watch.
Wonderful review, thank you for taking the time to craft/edit.
Agreed. Love the brand
Have a 00029.
Will never change it
I noticed my strap got pretty worn out after a year, had to replace it.
But I loved it, amazing watch.
Well you finally made me do it Evan. Bought a 112. It’s great. Can you tell me what that fantastic tan strap is?
That Panerai looks Awesome- Great history -Great brand My Pam 372 Said Hi!
I’ve been watching your old videos now and its funny you sound so serious here and you only mentioned your 7” wrist once, only Once! 😮
I bought a Panerai Pam 422 47m case size and l love it bought from watchfinder its a must have in any Watch Collection.
What a unique and beautiful watch. Congratulations
This might be 'the" Panerai to own, fine choice.
Great review! Great video!
I have a Pam1351 and just got a Pam448...love these watches and cants stop reading about their history and role in WWII.

I have the exact same watch. I bought it for the same three reasons you mentioned.

The 111 is quintessential
This watch is one of the Best watch.
Excellent video, very well done! Have you bought any more Panerai’s since?
Great video, building my watch collection (with Rolex submariner being my first watch) I will definitely be adding this watch to my collection.
I wear mine every day, and really love it.
Nice video. Well done. It’s nice to hear why you chose that watch.
What strap did u use?cant find it in panerai website
Also looking for this strap. Would love to buy it!
Awesome video and congrats on your new PAM!!!

So nice! Good choice! I have a pam372 with plexi and is so amazing!! Is a 47mm but it feels so good on the wrist!
Despite all the hate, that is a beautiful watch.
I’m thinking of getting a pam00312
Great video! Planning to add it to my collection as well. Whats the price range in the used market for it roughly?
true words at the end, great watch, great story!
Bravo and congratulations!
It looks really nice on your wrist, good pick up.
Beautiful watch.. Great video... Loved it
Classic. Panerai sits on my wrist better than any other watch.
Nice review! Looks good on you. Whats your wrist size if I may ask?
Thanks! Just over 7 inches
Fantastic, great vid and nice review. Love the simplicity of that model, seriously considering one very similar but with the alligator strap
best designed PAM IMHO
The size, the look and the movement(??).
Very good video, thank you very much!
It looks nice on the video. I’d have to try it on before I can pass judgment.
What a lovely looking watch 👍
Great pick up. Can never go wrong with a Pan! Especially ones that are limited to under 1500 made.
per year, you know it right? ;)
Peacemaker I still don’t see many people have them. It’s like a pretty exclusive bunch. But watch enthusiasts know and can spot it far away.

My favorite model too - they're getting harder to find in good condition with box and papers now...
So the hand wind movement is better than the automatic? It is gorgeous...so clean and simple but so much $$$. Would this be your everyday watch?
