This kind of crying reminds me when I was a little kid and some days my clothes and hair just felt wrong and ugly no matter what I wore and I felt so frustrated and uncomfortable I just wanted to give up. When I was 4 or 5 I had this dark maroon wool jumper that I had to wear with a little white blouse. I could not stand the color or texture, so I would grab it from the closet and stuff it into the dirty clothes hamper so I wouldn't have to wear it. I used to imitate Gidget, and sit outside on a Beachtowel with sunglasses on like a moviestar.

To one day in particular, in middle school, I attempted to wear something different than my usual jeans, t-shirts, hoodies etc. then once at school my social anxiety and young teenage need to fit in had me obsessing so bad about feeling just different, off & very awkward in what I was wearing, to the point I said I was sick (literally was sick from anxiety by that point.) & was sent home early. So I get it! Poor Z! I hope it all worked out in the end.
I have felt that a lot. I’m allergic to metal so I couldn’t wear jeans or jewelry or anything with like metal zippers ect. I didn’t have parents that cared to look for something cute that I could wear and so I was always put in ugly clothes and everything was also hand me downs from my older siblings. I get such bad anxiety choosing outfits still.

She had rewritten it, tried to get it right so many times.. Time was crunched and she had to bite the bullet and use whiteout instead of rewriting the whole thing because if she would have, it wouldn't have been done at all. Like if Zendaya would have continued to try to fix what couldn't be fixed instead of making it work she wouldn't have made it in time, and the dress wouldn't even be anywhere near what she had imagined. She's literally giving notes on what needs to happen in real time. She's LITERALLY as stressed as the designers and engineers who are creating this dress. It turned out to be one of the most on-theme, memorable dresses at the Met Gala that year. I think it's one of my favorites, ever.

Thought I was the only one that thought the corset just looked so ugly! It really could’ve done without sticking out so much at the bottom, idk why they just didn’t make it so it was cinched in at the waist. Then it would have been a beautiful princess dress

Idk anything about dressmaking so forgive me for being an idiot on the subject, but is the corset sticking out and uncinched because of all of the extras that had to be put in (perhaps under all that? Idk) ? Maybe it's sewn to the fabric or placed under I have no idea....just a thought....again....I'm an idiot on this subject 😂
