Awesome and practical! I'm from Brasil and visited Perth in 2014. One of the beautiful places in the planet! Rootnest, Kings Park, Freemantle, Cootloes beach all live in my Heart and memory. Congratulations.
Thank you Eduardo. Yes, she is a beautiful city. I am blessed to have been born here, and lived here most of my life. I never visited Brasil, although I did transit through Sao Paulo one time on my way back from Buenos Aires. I wish that I could offer you a place to stay in Perth if you wanted to visit again, but if you look at my recent videos you will discover that since making this video I have fallen into the grip of a serious cancer, and I will soon be gone. But thank you for your kind words for me and my home city. Best of luck with your Corolla. The ZRE182 is a spectacularly good series of car. Stick with it. Thank you, can you tell me if its possible that the airbag can inflate by accident when doing this, I need to get to my horn but I'm worried that the airbag will pop if I do it.
Yes, it is possible. But there is a very easy way to stop it happening. Disconnect the battery and then turn your headlights into the on position and wait five minutes to drain any residual charge. Once you are sure that these is no residual charge in your car's electrics, then it is safe to remove the airbag.
@@PaulinPerth Thank you Paul, the problem I have is that when the fuse fkr the horn I inserted as soon as I dribe away the horn come on amd constantly blowing till I pull the fuse out, only bought the car a couple of days ago 2nd hand, dont know if you would know anything for the cause of this, Thank you again. Chris
How do you remove, remove the front leather cover? After you take it out, i'm afraid it's gonna blow up in my face if I remove the four screws on the backside
Thank you for this video. I have been looking for torx screw on the sides of my steering wheel airbag but couldn't find any. Seems it should be held in place by these springs. Will try this later. 2012 Toyota Corolla (south Africa)
@@PaulinPerth , I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla L model which did not come with cruise control. Doing some research and apparently you can just buy the switch and simply plug it in and mount it with two screws and it will work?
@@KrazyKramer Hi Mike, in Australia, the three models are Ascent, Ascent Sport and Levin. It sounds like in your country the L model is the base model. According to this forum, www.corollaforum.com/threads/cruise-control-install-complete-2015-l.4486/ it's completely feasible and easy. That's great information! Thanks for making us all aware.
I've never prised it off before, and I've not got a bad one to practice on. My advice is to find a wrecker who has one where the airbag has gone off and practice on that. Perhaps even do a video for us!
Thank you for showing easy way to remove airbag ❤
Fantastic easy to understand and clear views
This is the best and simplest explanation I have found. Thank you!!
You are welcome Philip. Enjoy!!

So when you put the cover back on it just automatically will snap into place I assume?
Hi Mike, yes, that's right. Just line up the three pins and gently push the airbag module in. You will hear it click into place.
